No wonder, everyone is in a high state of anxiety and therapy doesn't work for men, it neuters the edge that all men naturally have. You are not allowed to be angry and aggressive, it's viewed as abnormal, they would rather you be apathetic. Essentially all men crave for only a few things:

- Having purpose and agency

- Not taking shit from anyone

- Being loved by women (not just one), it's a validation that you doing well in the game of life

Now can it be fulfilled by being a good boy working 9 to 5? There's no agency in that, you are forced to take shit from everyone and to conform to this bs imposed on you. You know that there's nothing glorious on the other side of this journey - best case scenario you'll have a solid 401k and a family, but there's a 50% chance that it will be taken away from you. And let's be honest, this lifestyle is not conductive to being loved by women, because they really really love men that have agency and purpose, men who don't take shit from anyone.

It's a tricky puzzle to solve. But at least men should be honest with themselves about their true desires, no matter how dark and socially condemned they might be.
