Guile + guix.

I work in devops and that replaced a horrible mess of god knows how many containers with a straight forward, boring and reproducible single large instance of Guix SD.

But if you only make sure anyone who talks about Tienanmen square from ever holding job again that is fine, according to the people who keep saying the freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences.

In a sane world she would be given the Nobel Prize in every science.

After Knuth and Lamport get it in physics for TeX/LaTeX.

HM isn't much better. The first time I was banned here was for calling her a fraud who is getting away with what she's doing because of all the useful idiots who put identity ahead of substance.

I miss the good old days when we burned people for their opinions. The ideas were worth so much more when you could get literally killed for a thing your husbands mistress could say you said 20 years ago.

I always look at the money.

If research that goes against the interests of a huge multinational oligopoly has an r value less than 0.1 it's probably true.

Saying that you should just exercise more is literally an opinion taken from a Coca Cola commercial: https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2013/01/cokes-unc...

The quality of care is already so low that you're better off financially and health wise just flying to Europe, or fleeing to Canada.

Like always getting into shape is mostly about not eating rather than exercising. With our highly processed food one could do nothing but run marathons day in day out and still be morbidly obese.
