Apparently.

I see this totally wild she even had to ask permission for running for office, or at least from an European perspective.

I've been working on a similar concept, around claude code, for my own productivity https://github.com/bits4breakfast/albedo
migrating to what? just take a look at the newest CVEs, https://www.tenable.com/cve/newest , and you will see that no technology is spared by high or critical reports.
is it just me, or is Anthropic posting more articles like this (and similar other topics) in the past few days than before? And more of them are ending up in HN front page?

If I recall correctly the only news they used to post were new models updates, while now they have expanded their topics, or so I feel.

today I learned that building your image from scratch is fundamental in cases like this. Luckily I came prepared thanks to Claude Code suggestion.

they would need to produce all data they have about you. It may not lead to anything but you can mess up with them as much as they are messing up with you.
Re:Someone behind the software on Sunday October 18, 2026 @05:11PM (#50145532)
I used to be among those that appreciate a well structured codebase. I used to spend a lot of time thinking about that and making sure each file was as clean as the timeline allowed, with regular tech debt cleanup when you had to cut some corners or you accumulate some cruft.

And I’m still are, with the difference that I still enforce this at agent and code review level because I believe a solid foundation is important for long term success, especially now that it can be cheaper to achieve if you choose to

Re:Someone behind the software on Sunday October 18, 2026 @03:17PM (#50144320)
I’ve found myself raising the bar every day with my team in terms of my expectations of what their deliverables should be. I gave them enough time to adjust but I observed that the average engineer believe they can do the same with less effort while they should rather think about delivering more and of higher quality, and taking the extra time available to connect the dots.

I believe this is going to be a huge filter moving forward.

Have you tried a GDPR data request just because you can?

there are videos of bulldozer in the West Bank eradicating secular olive trees from Palestinian farmland. There is no Hamas in West Bank, no tunnels, no fighters.

whoever came up with this website name is definitely not Italian, as you would rather say "Signor Galilei".
Re:Ask HN: Who is using MCP in production? on Friday September 04, 2026 @05:34AM (#49562386)
I've ramped up my MCP game this year, I started with Linear and Notion and I recently launched an internal MCP for internal data that is being used by my colleagues too for reporting and preparing for meetings with customers (we do upsells for hotels www.upsellguru.com ). It seems like that some of the most tech savvy customers are looking forward to use it too and we may open to them too.
Why not serving files compressed if the client supports it even though the origin served an uncompressed file?

They acquired already WeTransfer and Dropbox could be a natural fit with that.
they were the one coming up with forward deployed engineers, weren't they? The least I would expect from this model is that I own the whole infra.

Re:Western Sahara on Wednesday August 05, 2026 @05:29PM (#49189299)
I visited the Saharawi refugees camps around 15 years ago or so in the south-west corner of Algeria.

They have been living in a limbo for 50 years at this point, but they still feel like they will be able to go back to their land therefore they don't really settle there (they are also in the middle of a desert). Some people gave up on the idea to return to their land (but still feel temporary), others were really frustrated with the fact nothing moved and you could see this frustration at the annual demo in front of the "Muro de la Verguenza", which is the "wall" erected by the Moroccans with landmines and strongholds along the front line.

Question is - when is Claude going to adopt this new version?
the US can make Iran look like Afghanistan and still loose the war.
Additionally, early success doesn't mean long term success. The US won in Afghanistan initially, then they got dragged in a conflict for 20 years and ultimately Taliban came back.
According to the US administration Iran military was supposed to be obliterated, and still. Either way, they have figure out they have a much cheaper way to hold Trump by the balls, and let him dance to their tune. I believe Ukraine and Iran are showing that there is a new level of inflicting damage to your aggressor.
the modern USA territory was never taken over, but the US military had to pack and leave quickly in a few occasions. Just because Vietnamese couldn't fight back in the US, nor the Talibans, doesn't mean that the US wasn't defeated.

But even that, let's remember that the British invaded and occupied Washington, burned down White House and Capitol, etc etc.

Iran has been preparing for this war for almost 50 years, and they have more leverage than Vietnamese or Talebans had.
It wouldn’t be the first war the USA loose against a smaller enemy. See Vietnam, Afghanistan, etc etc.
Are you sure? I spoke about decathlon in Canada with a friend of mine living there (Ottawa) and she says it’s there.
There are several things: * economic uncertainty (wars, energy shocks, etc) * policies chaos * end of free money (interest rates)
Re:The drivers behind software delivery inefficiency on Monday July 20, 2026 @04:59PM (#48984811)
We’ve never had a QA because we are on a tight budget but our PM is acting as a gatekeeper before declaring something as done.

However, there were too many cases that things were delivered as “ready” when they were not. PR review was not enough as everyone were checking diffs from GitHub only.

I implemented an intermediate step where the responsible engineer must post a screenshot or a short video of the ticket before passing to the PM and that alone resolved a lot of issues before they materialized on customers screens, just because you must take the extra effort to work on a proof of work.
