The usage of shape here triggers me.

Very interesting. But I'd imagine they aren't doing proper KYC to get an ExtraCare card, I bet it is very soft KYC. Like phone number verification or card payment which you can get anonymously, so it won't necessarily do too much to find the perpetrator. I wonder if it works through throttling and blacklisting so the loss and damage radius are reduced.

Shape triggers me as well now.
You're right, it seems there are more validating nodes now. Not sure about the ownership information of course. They need to be whitelisted to take part, right? That's why I treat it as somewhat distributed rather than decentralized in a traditional crypto way.

Running a node for HL takes a lot of resources too.

But yeah they are non-custodial which is great.

At least it will be better moving forward, one can hope.
KYC definitely won't happen. But that aside the funny thing is, HyperLiquid isn't actually decentralized in a traditional sense. They have like 5 validating nodes and all operated by HyperLiquid affiliates.

Also the XYZ markets that the stock tokens "live on" is not managed by HyperLiquid as far as I know.

I enjoyed his backstory. We all could have also just not replied and upvoted the post but here we are passing information back and forth and finding joy in it in the process.

Finally we can stop with their psyops?

Now that's a blast to the past. What's next, Rapidshare.de is having issues?

Extreme speeds are actually interesting if you think about it. We are apparently getting some interesting results from LLMs nowadays. If they would put 100x effort in 10% the time it takes, or imagine 1% where how long tool calls take become the bottleneck, that would actually probably feel like a really special kind of "super intelligence".
My experience with Brotli is from back when all the hype was mobile first and India etc was super mobile first so all these social networks lost their mind optimizing for request success and speed. So they were going crazy over micro-wins like that.

I always found it so interesting that corporations are essentially the outcome of we pay some people some money for them to work for the best interests of this entity that is not theirs. A lot arises from that.

Why not accept the Apple bounties and donate it or something?

How about Kimi?
Had a short moment to glance at it. My guess would be BROTLI_DCHECK(s>meta_block_remaining_len <= (int)BROTLI_BLOCK_SIZE_CAP) along with BROTLI_SAFE_WITH_STATUS having that goto saveStateAndReturn on non BROTLI_DECODER_SUCCESS.
Yeah, I actually first heard it here from you.

It is true and accurate but such an overly romantic embellishment.

Can't they just read each other's logs/summaries?
It is cloud seeding by a private company. FAA investigated and got back to me about it after talking to the owners and said it doesn't fall under their purview.
I did do exactly that, and included that in my inquiry to the FAA. FAA even called the owner to ask about what was going on.

It is done under the umbrella of cloud seeding as the sibling comment said. And it is completely unregulated. You can actually go hire this company to cloudseed wherever you wish. You don't have to own the land, the people below don't get to give informed consent.

It was Yosemite.

I can think of two endgames. These cloud seeding agents have a dessicant effect on the forests. Leading to more forest fires under the guise of trying to prevent them.

Another longer term endgame I could imagine is to combine a solar minimum with ongoing established patterns of cloudseeding to create issues.

A dangerous game they are already playing, acting like they only wargamed it. This is already happening, I noticed many private aircraft doing it over eastern California near national parks.

I reported it to FAA, well turns out you can just put any flare on your plane and fire them wherever.

Beats me how and why it makes sense to hire a Florida company through a Utah company to go spray public lands you don't own over eastern California.

If you have a variable `const char *shellcode` in a fizzbuzz function, it is enough for it to lose its mind.

Same but I am leaning towards it being sarcastic.

Re:Berthd on Tuesday October 06, 2026 @04:34PM (#49983708)
Because the compiler does a deterministic transform on the input. And the input is less ambiguous than natural language and following more strict rules.

Why ask obvious things?

Re:Adobe Creative Suite Cleanroom Port to Rust on Tuesday October 06, 2026 @02:11PM (#49982015)
The UI is great but even basic features are relatively incomplete. It has potential, I hope it gets to places.
The reason I didn't explain it is because it is obvious.

Because one of them has a ton of GPUs and TPUs in it while the other one doesn't.

And for the cameras, one is doing using state of the art detection and has connectivity.

Both are obvious things to people in here.

Re:Remove and Disable Apple Macos27 AI Models Tool on Sunday October 04, 2026 @05:52PM (#49958278)
Can it now consistently find things in /Applications when I type the full name?

That's revolutionary.

Pretty strange thing to do. That aside, definitely AI written. The cadence is a dead giveaway.
