Over 2 Million a year are coming in. Canada does not have infinite space. Most of the country is uninhabitable. It has a harsh climate. Most of the influx goes to two cities and their environs.

I'll assume you mean govt (public) debt to GDP ratio not private debt to GDP. I'm not sure if private debt to GDP has increased or not since 2008. I would guess it has if mortgages are counted.
The problem with QE is it drove up the price of land/housing as I think a lot of it ended up as mortgage loans. Rents rise with land price increases which affects businesses. It would've been better if the QE had gone to business loans not mortgages. But home ownership trumps more businesses when it comes to getting votes so no govt official is going to make a stink if too many loans go out to land asset acquisition vs creating small businesses.
There's a couple of dissenters but largely silence. Now that the body count has climbed higher yeah a little bit of dissent.

I used to think like you but I realized I was wrong. USA and Ukraine are not innocent here at all. What would the USAs response be if China did with Canada what the USA has done in Ukraine? How would the US govt respond to Chinese machinations to make Canada a close ally of China? To invite Canada into a Military Pact with China similar to NATO? To announce that Canada could join a trade block like the EU with China etc? How do you think the USA would respond to Chinese military advisors operating in Canada and Chinese officials going to Canada and making public statements the way Viktoria Nuland did?

There are plenty of reasons other than hiring bias why the employed staff may not be diverse.
