Same with my nephew. He also has autism and the first thing the speech therapist did when he was 3 was teach him simple sign language. It became such a great catalyst for communication. He's nowhere near his his age (now 6) developmentally but within ~6 weeks he went from completely non-verbal to actually vocalizing the simple words he learned the sign language for.
If it was with a single card there probably isn't enough expense to go over the standard deduction.
There was a handful of novels and light novels that explored this concept easily a decade or more before RPO. It especially became popular sometime in the mid 2000s I remember a bunch of popular light novels coming out around that time.
I'm personally imagining Zuckerberg as a .hack fanatic like myself and my brother were back in '03.
Are these active usage numbers? I wonder how many of us have created one in the past but never use it. Or what the monthly actives are.
Of my family and friends I only know of 2 who use it actively though most have an account.
I like how the person above can also say the following.
> Why is it nonsense? The wealthy and connected can already give their progeny undue access to opportunities via their social networks, and can afford the best education that money can buy. That's already way more of an advantage than the average citizen gets.
Besides, the whole point is to maximize equality of opportunity.
For computers, not everyone can afford computers in America. I was lucky to find a job walking fields as a child to afford one but that opportunity doesn't exist for everyone.
For the US driving at 16 is common especially in the rural states. We could also get our learners permit at 14 so I could drive with my parents in the car. Mostly for me it meant I was the one then doing the 5hr drive to my grandparents place.
Also several of my friends got mopeds at 14 and would drive them around town. Not good for driving on gravel roads but was great for the kids in town.
The farm kids out of town would drive their parents trucks/cars in and around their property starting around 13/14 but that was generally to haul feed and equipment around.
Fraud would be another term.
But as others have stated this should have been taken care of earlier. To fire them and then give the excuse afterwards meant they allowed the actions to happen.
You could always hire the person for a different role. Say its a SE position in the company but then the person doesn't meet the requirements. The company can offer a jr position.
Especially in your situation it would make sense to have a separate title at the start.
It's useful if you have a custom eslint ruleset you want to apply to your ts projects. Some of those rules aren't always available on tslint.
Mostly helpful to keep a shared ruleset across projects.
Games requiring long term focus, chess for example, I personally have difficulty playing when sleep deprived, even though it is turn based. I find I play at ~200 rating points lower on low sleep.
Most certainly meant to write 'even though he dropped out...'. Though that would certainly be something.
They were meaning US cities, we can certainly be very US centric in our thinking.
And to keep on that theme let me talk about my city.
If you don't actually need to get anywhere and want to ride for leisure Denver has some nice built up trails that sort of meander through neighborhoods that are completely separated from roads. Very safe and usually very pretty to ride on.
Downtown looks pretty dangerous though.
That might be it. I'll give it a check later today but I am walking out to the trail. I'd have hoped since I have the playlists downloaded that it wouldn't matter.
I have an S8 and generally have to charge it half way through the day. Going on a 1 1/2 walk while just listening to spotify will drain the battery between 18-24%. Been trying to decide between the Pixel, XR, or S9 since its been so bad recently. If the S9 really has that amount of improvement I wouldn't mind doing the straight upgrade since video/picture quality isn't a big deal for me.
Not too much with linear but usually 10th or 11th grade math will introduce matrix multiplication.
Feel like most of the top talent was already swept up by Deere , Hy-vee and a couple of the insurance places in Des Moines anyways.
> The whole of human existence shows we're pretty consistent about choosing easiest every time.
This isn't the case across the globe. Japan's recycling and Singapore's trash policies come to mind immediately but there are sure to be better.
Probably the most common though. Will certainly require a shift in culture for most people on this planet.
> Where once the shopkeeper measured out your purchase now we get single use coffee pods and single use plastic around 4 slices of meat.
The EU has recently voted to remove the use of single use plastics. I do wonder what the overall effect will be but I think policy could change this as well as affect behavior around it.
I'm not a Python dev. Is it not common to just type and let it auto import in the required libraries for you?
I'm wondering which part? Theres a lot of weird stuff going on on the prescription side of things but thats more about the weird formats that get used.
Most of the internal and data stuff is pretty solid but never saw any of the systems stuff from the machines themselves so unsure how messy that might be.
They've always been big on contractors so it wouldn't surprise me on the readability of some of that stuff.
I think most of the concern comes from Google shutting down services and apis pretty regularly. I wouldn't use it for large projects or long term projects because of how differently you need to write things to effectively work with it.
* Machine Learned Pattern Matching
Might not be as prodigious but could look at picking up a part-time bootcamp instructor role. Definitely a lot different than teaching a CS course but might scratch that teaching itch.
Time required is generally around 15-20hrs / week depending on the course.
The try/catch wasn't always that case. I'm having trouble finding the blog from one of the v8 developers who went into details about it and other optimizations. It was on HN a while back.
Here is a perf test with various v8 versions (as you noted not only JIT but going going with the authors favorite).

I wonder if the hourly would increase for larger cities because of more individuals hailing. Though certainly increased expense from fixing the car because of city driving.
I wish Uber would release the numbers for review but that won't happen.
> Contrary to the other examples, this one won't make use of helper functions or initializers
Wondering what the code would look like with the helpers. Is this a bit of a "recoding of the wheel" example/exercise by Sascha?
It is on the main page under the "Frequently Asked Questions" section.
> What language are your solutions in?
> Our solutions are in Python. We think it's the best language to use for interviews, as it's well-known and very similar to pseudocode. However, we're looking to expand to other popular languages like Javascript, Java, C++, and Ruby!
I ended up removing my email account from my phone and removing my work slack channels from my phone. At around 3-3:30pm I close my laptop and I'm done for the day (outside of a problem gnawing at me that I think of a solution for at 10pm haha).
But generally just tune out from work and make sure you are disconnected.
Well certainly maintained.
