Re:Ancient grammatical puzzle solved after 2,500 years on Saturday December 17, 2022 @09:29AM (#34028023)
The scholars did not start immediately misinterpreting it. For example, rishi katyayana who came after rishi panini in his commentarty correctly understands the rule but somehow later scholars started misinterpreting it and it carried to this day until rishi rajpopat went back to the original source and deciphered it correctly (such a funny coincidence his first name is rishi lol)

I am not sure I understand your question. Ashtadhyayi was written by rishi panini to probably codify the already spoken sanskrit language under the umbrella of his 4000 rules. Probably he was frustrated by seeing different people speaking the language in different ways so I guess he and the 10 other rishis predating him that he credits in his book started this exercise.

Re:Science of Fasting on Thursday May 05, 2022 @01:39AM (#31269926)
I was at 24% body fat and after trying 24 hours water fast 3 times a week for 2 weeks, I have come down to 19% losing 4 kgs in the process. After this I didnt fast for 2 weeks as I wanted to confirm it was not water weight and I am still at 19%. Also, post prandial insulin came down to 18 μU/mL from 28 μU/mL (2 hour mark Kraft test). I have tried cardio and calorie reduction before to reduce fat and have got decent results but fasting is so quick so it is now going to be my preferred way for cutting.

Moved from Superhuman to hey.com. I really like both but hey.com is way cheaper.
Re:I won’t buy ebooks anymore on Tuesday May 26, 2020 @10:47AM (#23311816)
I am building an app that enables book exchange based on geographical proximity, think tinder for books. Do you think there is place in the world for such an app ?
Thst not true in the Elixir ecosystem. The numbers I see on my 5$ droplet are sth I haven't seen before. And that after writing 5% of code that i usually had to write in other stacks.
I run a Crypto arbitrage service www.coinvana.in built with phoenix and deployment consisting of digital ocean, nginx, ssl, mix releases, github actions among other things. At this moment, I just git push my updates to github and all pieces of deployment are taken care of.
