If the argument is that most developers can't understand what a DI system does, I don't know if I buy that. Or is the argument it's hard to track down dependencies? Because if that's the case the idiomatic c# has the dependencies declared right in the ctor.

I'll note that in the US that 1000+ is the "list price". For those paying out of pocket, both zepbound and wegovy offer coupons available to anyone taking it down to $500 (and I'll note that discounted price keeps coming down, slowly, as well)

Correct. But you choose to look at that feed. It's not the only one available to you. I have like 6 different feeds at any one time.

My X experience was far more partisan than Bluesky. Not being able to get away from seeing the latest thoughts of user numero uno was also a turn off.

But...restricted reach is exactly how Bluesky works. People you follow show up in your feed, and only them. You can look at other feeds that are not as restricted, but you are making that choice.

Totally agree the sleep is the killer feature. I will have to quibble with Overcooked resulting in "collaborate with each other in a very nice way" ... when more often than not you end up screaming at your loved ones "I TOLD YOU TO GRAB THE F*CKING ONIONS!!!"

Re:Google says US employees can relocate to states with abortion rights

Personal views of pro-life/pro-choice though can be separated from the question of "Does a woman have the fundamental right to terminate a pregnancy?", which seems to have much more support. Would a significant majority choose to do that themselves? Maybe not. But it seems the majority feel women DO have that right, and should be able to make that choice themselves.

Re:Supreme Court Overturns Roe vs. Wade
on Friday June 24, 2022 @01:55PM (#31866595)
Except that states banning abortions after X weeks was already a thing under Roe.
And this decision was not about any "state rights" bullshit. The court previously found an unenumerated right to an abortion, and now they completely reversed themselves. Women do not have complete body autonomy and must support another life no matter the impact on their own.
