most languages are now copying from each other, so we might get a language-convergence one day?

gemini is a bad name in korea...

"잼민이" (Gem-min-ee) is a derogative term for rude elementary kids online

"smart gemini" sounds really weird

extra laptops/servers...? meh

sorry I'm not being sarcastic to you, but those bitcoin/blockchainers...

I just noticed you were listing vital features of a financial system, and yet wasn't using them as your foremost argument.

> Electric hub motors produce a wine from the EMF

the sound is not coming from EMF, but rather from speakers due to safety regulations for pedestrians

hmm these seem to be usecases that are almost impossible for bitcoin/blockchains that say "cheap transaction fees / trust in the system" due to no-person-in-the-loop...

ditto this... "100 years ago" just seem to imply a lot of missing data points (and/or anecdata with lots of mislabeled data)

(for win home users: regedit?)

Re:Tailwind vs. Semantic CSS on Monday October 23, 2023 @09:13AM (#37985135)
hmm it might be possible with enough tooling:

- read from webpack's output

- read from css-in-js: emotion / vanilla-extract / etc

maybe he WAS afraid of death, but didn't trust the modern stat-based medical methods?

Re:Tailwind vs. Semantic CSS on Monday October 23, 2023 @06:56AM (#37983945)
hmm maybe IDE plugins can solve this? (eg. add a 'hover to show css' or 'expand css if I press ctrl+alt')

as for tailwild, I just can't bare its wide-ness - too many className attribute string going over 150~300 char widths, with some ternary operators mixed on top...

(seems vanilla-extract / ete have better DX, with occasional inlining for immediate deadlines)

hmm maybe it's more related to marketing and who got the vc money first?
Re:Tailwind vs. Semantic CSS on Monday October 23, 2023 @05:54AM (#37983546)
ditto this most tailwind projects have very wiiidddeee classnames in one line... which means I can't have split tabs on my vscode

what happens if wallet from satoshi is stolen and poured into the market for quick bucks?

what happens if "satoshi" gets desperate for quick cash?

idk this seems to be a major financial risk for bitcoiners, not altruism...
