Re:High levels of oestrogens in the womb linked to autism on Thursday August 01, 2019 @05:31PM (#20588561)
>Ask them if they judge their kid is "useless".

They'll probably say no, but their kid is useless socially, economically, etc. Can't have a job, can't help others, can't have friends, can't have a normal life, hell can't even have a life.

>And since when do we judge human beings on their usefulness?

Since always? That's all we do. And this is not a case of someone who's in a wheelchair or deaf, this is someone who can't do anything other than yell and throw things. That's my experience with an autistic person at the "high end" of the spectrum.

Hey man, thanks for Buster. I donated. You deserve it.
>What does manifest V3 add to privacy or security?

By definition, restricting the APIs extensions can use limits their power. Less powerful extensions can do fewer things, good or bad. Fewer bad things adds to privacy and security. At least that's what I understand.

Yes, I know ad blocking makes your browsing more private and secure, but that's another discussion.

Regular users should not be using the URL bar, they should type whatever they want in the search bar.
Re:How to stop Apple from listening to your Siri recordings on Thursday August 01, 2019 @11:21AM (#20584590)
Your voice is always sent to Apple to process it since Siri doesn't work locally; what we are wondering is whether that voice recording is permanently stored or destroyed as soon as it's processed.

How could we ever check?
