You can also get a tunnel going through https://tunnelbroker.net/. I use this with my PFsense gateway.

BlueBubbles is the new hotness I believe.
go2rtc is a really great addition. Local 2way audio through a doorbell is awesome.
Amcrest makes one as well that supports local-only and integrates with home assistant.

I had the same question. There doesn't seem to be any information regarding next steps once the server is running.
Not sure, I didn't try, but using one was a good excuse to learn how. The blog post suggests that despite there being 8 they're not all suitable for use (maybe due to high on boot or something)
It's actually pretty straightforward: just wire in the relays (shift register required for ESP8266) then turn them on and off as desired. With your valves exposed via wifi to Home Assistant or MQTT the world is your oyster as far as using inputs (weather, rain, etc) to bring intelligence into your irrigation scheduling. I loosely followed this guide when I built mine: https://selfhostedhome.com/diy-wifi-sprinkler-controller-usi...
Also infuriating: Not all email services treat DMARC in the same way, or way you'd expect (eg: O365 will by default deliver a p=reject to spam https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/offi...)

Joshua Bardwell (a prominent FPV YouTuber) has a review video up. It looks very cool and performant. Unfortunately one of his units broke an arm after a relatively common looking crash during his review.

Very cool! I wonder how DJI justifies the R&D costs of this drone when it (and their existing lineup) could possibly be banned overnight by the looming UAS regulations?

Where does this drone sit with regard to the current set of regulations? It will certainly at least need operator ID markings, yes?

One word of caution, the world of Z-Wave with Home Assistant is about to be flipped on its head due to some developer personal constraints. https://github.com/home-assistant/architecture/issues/483

Typically this is done with something like an Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5.
