My question is:
How far does the AI system go… is it behind the AI decision to starve the population of Gaza?
And if it is behind the strategy of starvation as a tool of war, is it also behind the decision to kill the aid workers who are trying to feed the starving?

Also, can an AI commit a war crime? Is it any defence to say, “The computer did it!” Or “I was just following AI’s orders!”
There’s so much about this death machine AI I would like to know.

Yes, that is kind of the point. The internet is full of bullies and that isn’t going to change - his heart wasn’t in it and he had bad judgement. He was played, I get it, but I know a tonne of professions where you’d be out the door if you messed up on that scale.

Re the falsifying working hours, wouldn’t these boffins be able to automate Git commits at certain times or even pass instructions to another team who is working the late night shift to post these changes etc.
I went to MacDonald’s last night, it is open 24/7, these spy agencies surely aren’t more lazy than minimum wage MacD employees - I am sure they work around the clock. Plus, you have night hawks like me who get more stuck in to a project at 4am and sleep through the day.
