I feel the same. Someone told me about bitcoin in the early 2000s. I had some money, I could've bought some but I didn't. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Re:Ask HN: Our client is abusive, What can we do? on Friday January 15, 2021 @04:36AM (#25788811)
Keep records of every communication with this person, all emails, phone records, etc

Have an urgent meeting and discuss your concerns. Make it clear their abuse is not appropriate and will not be tolerated. Tell them you will have no option but to discontinue the project if they continue.

The guy in the first picture doesn't look too fit considering he spends $31,000 a year for a set of exercises you can get for free from a million fitness websites. Also, what qualifies someone as "an age management doctor"? What is even that!?
She worked in a sandwich shop I used to go to when I worked nearby. I started talking to her more and more and then asked her out. She accepted and we've been together for 14 years now.
Isn’t it common for inmates in prisons to work menial jobs such as this? So is the issue that they are being illegally imprisoned? If that’s the case wouldn’t their own governments know about it and be working towards their release?
Re:Ask HN: What apps on your phone do you completely swear by? on Wednesday December 25, 2019 @07:58AM (#21878326)

Re:Ask HN: How do I work out how much my domain is worth? on Tuesday October 08, 2019 @04:36AM (#21190033)
You could try an online valuation tool or look around for the price of similar domains. But really the value comes down to whatever the market will pay. Consider how much you paid for it + the cost of maintaining it versus the amount being offered.
Re:Should You Play the Lottery? on Saturday June 22, 2019 @03:15PM (#20251197)
I can afford to lose the price of a ticket every week for the chance to win life changing money. So it’s a simple decision for me.
Re:Why should I buy this? (Marketing tips) on Wednesday February 27, 2019 @04:51PM (#19267280)
from the consumer point of view i like to ask does this thing solve a problem or create an opportunity? Does it remove any salient negatives and will it make me happier? Usually the answer to all of these is "no"!
Re:Ask HN: Is it normal to fall out of love with coding? on Wednesday January 09, 2019 @01:41AM (#18862797)
Definitely felt the same way at various stages in my working life. There’s a huge difference between doing something you enjoy as a hobby and doing it as a job. Working life beats the enthusiasm out of you, especially when you’re not always in control of the projects you work on and the software tools you get to use.
