Re:I Owe It All to Community College on Wednesday January 14, 2015 @02:13PM (#8888327)
He never states he is bad at math. It sounds like to me he was much more interested in subjects like art, literature and film. Which, given his career makes a lot of sense.

Really? Even if the malware was nearly identical to that of a previously found malware that was presumably used by a government on government attack? But whatever, seems you are more mad at windows than any sensationalism in the article.
Re:Mapping the Spread of Drought Across the U.S on Thursday July 24, 2014 @07:09PM (#8082876)
Exactly. The recent drought on the west coast can be attributed to a very massive high pressure system sitting off the coast deflecting away much needed rain storms. http://www.mercurynews.com/science/ci_24904396/california-dr... --- Is this "resilient ridge" caused by global warming/climate change? Haven't seen any evidence that links the two yet. If El Nino doesn't produce a very very wet this winter, then a lot of change will be coming to the west.
Re:Brendan Eich Steps Down as Mozilla CEO on Thursday April 03, 2014 @04:36PM (#7526391)
Please remember that part of the reason many voted in favor of Prop 8 was because of the amount of money raised in donations allowed a massive ad campaign that was full of lies and deceit.

Is this honestly the first time you are hearing the term social engineering? If it is, I don't think you will be able to claim that on a resume since you probably haven't practiced it much.
Re:You can no longer just leave Syracuse airport [video] on Wednesday November 20, 2013 @06:02PM (#6771888)
This looks like a giant PITA for people with small children or anyone escorting someone with a handicap.
Dudine is my new favorite word. I think it has a very pleasant sound when used as a greeting.
Re:In California, a Champion for Police Cameras on Thursday August 22, 2013 @01:57PM (#6258781)
The Verge had a really good article covering Taser, the company producing these cameras as well as the police departments using them. http://www.theverge.com/2013/4/5/4162478/tasers-axon-flex-co...

I just find it interesting that Police departments are now looking to record every interaction on video when in the past these exact Police departments (Oakland, LA + Rialto) have been very hostile to any citizen using a recording device.
