It was shot in colour. But the rest of the comments in the tree apply.

A Touch of Cloth. Probably the highest density jokes per second in UK comedy.

I've flown Newcastle to Southampton (and back) a few times.

Citizen of the Galaxy - despite being one of Heinlein’s “juveniles” is an interesting and entertaining exploration of the balance between freedom and duty.

It’s mostly not earth based.

Can you expand upon why you chose those particular things to focus on? I’m genuinely interested and don’t have a traditional CS background so I’d like to know what I’m missing.

(Serious question. I’m not being snarky)

Oh that's why I could never check it out!

I'm kidding - I'm in the same area and would have loved to have read this, if I'd known it existed.

Yes I'm familiar with it. What I'm saying is that :

relation = table. join = relationship.

Re:Ask HN: Junior SQL developers – How do you learn SQL? on Saturday March 13, 2021 @08:31PM (#26451914)
Bit of a nitpick.

Relations are another name for the tables, relations are not the joins between them.

Absolutely agree with everything here. But I'm curious what you're considering as an Excel replacement? For anything more sophisticated than Google Sheet's can handle I can't think of a single alternative off-hand.
Re:The Why of Cooking (2017) on Monday April 09, 2018 @06:42AM (#16791848)
That's an interesting idea. Do you leave the eggs to cool prior to breaking or are the cool enough to be handled after 20s?
Re:Does OO really match the way we think (1997) [pdf] on Friday August 25, 2017 @01:57PM (#15100672)
This is an approach I've been exploring myself. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations as to languages that lend them selves well to this approach?

Re:Show HN: Jukebox, a music player for Dropbox for iOS on Friday January 15, 2016 @10:55AM (#10910014)
A bit of an aside, but is anyone aware of a cloud player (for onedrive or google drive ideally) that supports audiobooks well? I'm using the onedrive app at the moment but it has a tendency to forget your progress which leads to a lot of manual scrubbing to find your place.
Re:Ask HN: What is HN reading? on Tuesday September 02, 2014 @10:28AM (#8257741)
Hesse's "The Glass Bead Game" is well worth reading if a little enigmatic.
Re:You shouldn’t use a spreadsheet for important work on Wednesday May 28, 2014 @06:03AM (#7809148)
Technically VBA != VBScript, although they are similar.
