Fun game, but it showed the lack of security hygiene employed by the game writer. It said `cat ~/.zshrc` was bad because it would share tokens and secrets, but I would never put secrets into my shell rc.
Clever name!

This is a secret? I've had this baked into my muscle memory for decades when an SSH session hangs.

I've gone back to reading paper books.

Headline should be "Man ghosts 4,999 women and met his wife"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiwi_Farms I think maybe you should read this.
You do realize that this wasn't simply about "discourse", yes? This was about active doxxing and swatting of real living human beings. Being transphobic might be just an (ignorant) opinion, but actively working to harm people needs to be shut right down.
This wasn't just due to Twitter outrage. People are actually being targeted and harmed through this site. Hate and harm are not covered under free speech.
Whenever I buy a new laptop, I install OpenBSD (and inevitably despise the experience), then install FreeBSD (and remember how I need some things that simply don't work in BSD), then end up using Arch.

This last FreeBSD install was working perfectly, but my wifi card had a breaking bug so I went to Arch. I've been waiting for almost 3 years for Arch to break hard enough to need a reinstall so that I can go back to FreeBSD (now that the wifi card is fixed). But Arch just keeps on tickin'

Is this an MLM spam post? It smells like one.
If "whistleblowers" are an item on your risk assessment sheet, you might want to rethink your methods.

There's a middle ground between accepting and paranoia: secure to best effort.
Re:Ask HN: Is the ISO 27001 certification worth it? on Wednesday November 03, 2021 @04:14PM (#29099698)
Type 1 is a point in time, and it expires. Type 2 maintains it.
Domestic partner aggro.
Victim blaming won't help here. Ransomware is generally a sophisticated attack by groups that tend to have the finances, skills, and resources to stay ahead of 80% of the companies operating today.

Looks pretty rad. Does it (or will it) integrate with Vidyard?
