where's safeway?
why not just unfollow everyone?

You can still message people but it isn't addictive because there will be nowhere to scroll outside of messages.

It has always been my stance that Canada should acquire Greenland since they have many similar lands.
I did look and I still did not come out the other side ok.

I think personality is an underrated factor. I would've been happier working at 7/11 for the rest of my life than having to go to university (which I hated) and then to a job I hated to pay it off.

It's never about science and never will be. It's about funding and land acquisition. Always has been and always will be.

The California Coastal Commission is like the IRS out here in California. Maybe one of the best run planning bodies in the country.

They will find out if you're not abiding by the law.

That's massive
You end up with denser development.

When you see a fashion trend everywhere, it has two years before it expires.
Re:The Instagram Aesthetic Is Over on Tuesday April 23, 2019 @11:10PM (#19735224)
I remain convinced that the next true popular aesthetic will be an offshoot of art deco combined with heavy nature related elements.

The next wave of tech is clean tech.

Electric cars and lab cultured meat.

We've entered years of clean designs of pure white backgrounds derived from Apple and more recently the pastels. There's no chaos with our designs and too much order.

I think Travis Kalanick was right to enter the real estate/land use industry. I think Stanford and Harvard buying up real estate in the central valley of California is the smartest decision.

We're going back to the land, just like the 70's.

The Apex site is an Apple site. They house FT employees in the same building.
Look at California, New York, or Texas. There's parts of those states that may disagree with the political leanings of the states policies. How are they supposed to get their own say in their community?
You want corporate interests to rule a city? That's not even remotely democratic.

I'm ok with you guys being ruled by a dictator. I don't care about you. I just want to make money.
Re:Singapore Weighs Fate of Its Brutalist Buildings on Monday January 28, 2019 @04:45AM (#19016236)
Singapore may have the world's best modern architecture. I used to be a skeptic of modern architecture but I really enjoy builidngs like the Interlace and Marina Bay Sands. One of many things that changed my thoughts when I was living there. Fantastic country and people.

Tesla has that product reality distortion field much like Apple has. Would've made a great purchase.

Uhhh where in Marin? I grew up here.

The average Marin resident doesn't eat at these places.

These are the places for the finance CEOs, high profile landlords, and the tech commuters. There's no post hippie commune or even yuppies here anymore. Just greedy fucks eating overpriced food on undersized plates.
