Re:MCP Explained on Thursday November 05, 2026 @06:16PM (#50385934)
Imagine trying to explain MCP by pointing at this website.
> ...videos recorded by Meta smart glasses were being sent to offshore Meta workers in Kenya for data labeling used to train AI models. These videos included disturbing clips and intimate moments including bathroom footage of users who likely did not realize that their recordings were being viewed by third-parties.

Meta can't resist an opportunity to spy on its users

AI is generating ads that will be reviewed by AI that will then be pushed to humans largely to ignore.

Ad pipeline is malware at this point.

While I am a huge fan of Paizo's games and have been playing PF2e since launch, it's got some pretty large differences. I would heartily recommend it to any would-be D&D players but it's not the dropin all around better replacement for D&D 5e that people say it is.
Re:RFC 454545 – Human Em Dash Standard on Tuesday March 10, 2026 @05:15PM (#47328863)
This reads like a troll post, but it does pose a good question. Is there realistically any way to CAPTCHA anymore?

I'm thinking that we can't reliably sus out what's human and what's AI from here on out, and I don't think there's any good way to enforce something like a human emdash. The way we're going you won't be able to verify unless users scan their iris or a 3 letter agency vouches for them first.

I broke up with a close friend because he had this exact view.

He was gay. Don't know how he couldn't understand this.

Re:Toro: Deploy Applications as Unikernels on Tuesday December 30, 2025 @12:35PM (#46435743)
What's the use case for this rather than containers? Separation from the hypervisor kernel?
Nice project, I was able to use it to map out some parts of a vendor's API that's been giving me grief today. I'm pretty amateur and this was really intuitive. Happily putting this in my toolbox.
I lurk probably 99% of the time. Most discussions I see (especially here), there are already comments that are far over my head, and I have nothing original to contribute.

Zero doubt in my mind :)
