I find once I remove addiction (YouTube, twitter) I will naturally get things done
Re:Is crypto just one big Ponzi scheme? on Friday April 29, 2022 @07:44AM (#31203937)
Speculation isn't a poniz because you don't like the asset. Crypto is more accurately rife with fraud, wash trading, pump and dumps and so on
Newer electric vehicles are moving to LFP batteries which are very resistant to fire after shorting or puncture
I would say most shitcoin hacks are inside jobs. Skip the pump and dump and more to stealing from token holders
Any other highway locations would be better. Best thing about an EV is you fill up next to a restaurant or cafe. Never have to go to a gas station again
Exactly. It's a circular argument to say a law is good because it's a law. And no one has any idea of financial laws in each country

Saying that Sam Altman is a scammer

Is this a surprise? What country would not investigate supporter of an enemy military in their boarders
You missed the /s at the end
100% this. They are so far behind and every move will be to use regulation against competition
Statute of limitations did not apply. All crimes were scrubbed by Western govts and forgotten by Western media. Remember legacy auto pays for most ads during news broadcasts
Re:If Google sucks then why is everyone still using it? on Saturday March 19, 2022 @05:29PM (#30737739)
Same here. Traveling and when I search for postgres I don't want to find the local student project as the top result
Re:If Google sucks then why is everyone still using it? on Friday March 18, 2022 @08:06PM (#30729302)
Sorry but duckduckgo or probably any other search is better than Google at this moment
Re:How Putin’s Oligarchs Bought London on Friday March 18, 2022 @06:55PM (#30728669)
Because in Russia the KGB associated people took political and economic power. Hence ruled by few as is the definition. I'm assuming you believe Mark Zuckerberg has a iron grip on your country and will have you killed if you cross him?
Re:Google open sources solar atmospheric water generator on Friday March 18, 2022 @06:24AM (#30720416)
That video is about the Boring Company. They are making tunnels not hyperloops
Re:Google open sources solar atmospheric water generator on Friday March 18, 2022 @04:49AM (#30719909)
I never mentioned hyperloop. Again this is the level of reply I would expect of Thunderf00t. You can do better
Re:Google open sources solar atmospheric water generator on Thursday March 17, 2022 @10:30PM (#30718160)
"Veritasium: BUSTED!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Hyy1zRZPiQ This is his area of expertise and is a great "busting" video

Trash: "Elon Musk Invents UNDERGROUND Traffic Jam!" "Tesla Bot" No debunking. Small mindedness, pessimistic rant. Just says Elon will fail but not clear how he knows he will fail

Re:Google open sources solar atmospheric water generator on Thursday March 17, 2022 @06:45PM (#30716701)
Thunderf00t is hit and miss. Some videos are scepticism, small mindedness, long pessimistic rant without substance and no debunking
Sounds conspiratorial/not my experience doesn't mean not true. Humans are great at conspiracies. The word gets used dismissively because paranoid types claim conspiracy without evidence and experience. If you went to your local court you'd hear about many people witnessing conspiracies
The blade battery is LoFePO4 and the video released show them only heating and smoking after being punched and short circuited

Well if you watch YouTube most nail puncher tests of LFP don't catch fire. There is one video were someone hammers two holes in the battery and it catches fire

Believe it's the battery short and discharge that starts the heat and fire. And to prevent damaging the batteries they ship them 50% charged

Newer electric cars are LiFePo and don't catch fire and are less dangerous

Re:Pockit: A tiny, powerful, modular computer [video] on Friday March 11, 2022 @11:40AM (#30642145)
Can we get internet of things devices with power of ethernet? Seems so much easier that WiFi, Bluetooth and a battery and usb for recharging
Re:Just Say No to Central Bank Digital Currencies on Thursday March 10, 2022 @08:57PM (#30635236)
CBDCs will be a tool of all totalitarian, predatory governments. That I'm sure of. They will also be popular with people after a fair socialist utopia with top down economic incentives. I'm skeptical it can lead anywhere good
Re:Transforming cities with superblocks on Monday March 07, 2022 @11:10PM (#30596351)
Richer Asian cities often have good quality of life in the cities. Walkable and good transportation. It's true in many parts of China and all over developed Asia
Re:Crude oil market opens at $125 on Sunday March 06, 2022 @08:22PM (#30583102)
Good time to be an EV owner
Re:Crude oil market opens at $125 on Sunday March 06, 2022 @08:18PM (#30583063)
France has a high amount of nuclear power and is less dependent on Russian gas
Re:Russians are trying to flee – data from Google Trends on Saturday March 05, 2022 @06:29PM (#30573083)
Best outcome is Russians turn to Bitcoin and use it to starve the Russian government of tax income
Re:Namecheap: Russia Service Termination on Tuesday March 01, 2022 @06:58AM (#30513064)
A private company is free to enforce their terms of service. You have no reason to imply their actions are uninformed by saying they are an "intern"
China was popular with bitcoin miners because of its hydro-power
Re:Namecheap: Russia Service Termination on Monday February 28, 2022 @10:11PM (#30508908)
Thank you Namecheap!
Re:Namecheap: Russia Service Termination on Monday February 28, 2022 @09:58PM (#30508803)
