Yes they do, they pay the authors excessively, up to $200 per semester per author.

parasites or reverse robin hood, which is the same thing
Sadly it seems to be legal to do terrorism with a computer if you're rich. Maybe they'll change that, but I wouldn't bet on it.
And their banned-from-the-federal-government competitors, Sinthropic.
And infinite money. When you start a debt, you get money.

And so the world cycles again. AOL was a walled garden too.
Right now, via the medium of Cloudflare.
Which group do you mean? Customers? Investors?
From another article:

We'll just block other countries that consistently send more attacks than good traffic, and sue agents in our own country who act as proxies.
This. The political metagame isn't about the laws any more.
In most cases, this would be treated as proof that you broke the window, leading to a jail sentence when you otherwise might not have received one.

Idk - a pretty normal one. Why not just let the keyboard keyboard?
Only Starlink can use the Starlink spectrum too. You're free to seek your own spectrum.
In that religion, finding weird loopholes in God's laws is seen as a good thing, and something that entertains God. Whereas hacking is hacking.

Added during sampling by adding a bias to token probabilities in places where several tokens are equally likely.

If someone causes financial loss by posting LLM text and is then found to have removed a watermark. Everything in civil law is implicitly inside a if(someone harmed && they sue you) {} block.

Scrolling down to reach the HTML keyboard, and then back up to see what I typed, is obnoxious. I have a keyboard installed, and it doesn't pop up because something on the page tells my browser it doesn't need to. Was this vibecoded?

They have infinite money and nothing else but smoke and mirrors.
Who besides OpenAI said OpenAI were supposed to be stewards of the internet?
They still get to sue for damages if a law was broken
I remember a case from Germany where an elderly lady chose to speed down the pedestrian sidewalk and bike lane and mowed down a whole family in central Berlin. 4 deaths I think, no charges, no suspension.

Re:Beating the Compiler on Monday October 05, 2026 @02:31PM (#49968627)
Consider a kernel that boots on several different machines with different capabilities. Patching the call instructions at init time, to point to either one version or another of a frequently used function, saves time.
Is it trolling if they actually invented the technology?
It's not like the standards have official legal status. You're allowed to develop your own mobile network technology that isn't 5G and doesn't infringe any patents - the government isn't saying that only 5G can be 5G, so it's a theoretically fair playing ground.
Protests never accomplish law changes - the most they can do is bring together the people who care enough about something to protest it.
Can the US government prove they did (a headline is not proof)? Can Qualcomm even enforce patents against Huawei anyway, or vice versa? Maybe they're just handshake-agreeing on the status quo.
