Could be that. Could be they don't want to pay 3% to a middle.
Because warnings don't just disappear. The stop and warning is still catalogued.

For now.

Yes. Its a fingerprinting paradox that the more you do to obfuscate the better they can pick you out of the crowd.
This worked for me. Question is how long until they force it.
Re:Replacing the old battery on rechargeable bike lights on Monday September 28, 2026 @08:30AM (#49876948)
Desoldering can be a PITA sometimes. Particularly our HVAC heatpump blew a fuse and the mobo quote was $600 so I tried to desolder the leads but it was neigh impossible at any temps my desktop hako could output. Tried scratching off a surface film, using chemicals, nothing worked.

I just ended up snipping the leads and soldering the new fuse inline directly to those wires.

Green line?

Would Publix count as a co-op?
The current safety and mpg targets for car manufacturers incentivize them to produce 'cars' of a certain size and weight to avoid compliance with stricter standards on smaller vehicles.

As such, the manufactuers have incentivized customers to buy SUVs for a few decades now.

Says tweet not found for me.
This was common at our East coast Amazon site circa 2019 as well, but for monitors.
Wouldn't the insurance company's incentive be to sell you the most coverage they can?

I agree with parent. When I tap the icon/picture on the history it should pull up the contact not call. I also find the need to click into a submenu for context bad UI.

Your comment is unnecessarily inflammatory.

Re:Ask HN: Can we please limit the AI news flood? on Friday September 11, 2026 @10:22PM (#49668059)
Potentially more. Example, the data center articles don't match the AI filter, but they are certainly AI driven.
Has capitalism ever stopped and thought instead of hitting full throttle at any cost?

Yea, ditto if they only take orders via tablets. Vote with your wallet.

I believe the parent was a Futurama reference in jest.
Re:Hacking IKEA Furniture on Sunday August 30, 2026 @01:45PM (#49500962)
I did something similar, but just bought the wooden desk top from Ikea. Sanded/stained and added some standing desk legs. Perfect balance between customization and not building from scratch.

I'd be hesitant to recommend a novice to pursue a glue-up/planing project if they weren't already interested in woodworking.

Industry? Source? This does not match my experience to date. I see subscriptions everywhere from telephony, CMS, slack, quip, etc.
Some of us prefer looser fitting bands. Most of smart watch features are useless unless you strap it down tight. I'd bite on something like this if the form factor wasn't off.
Wasn't that the result of active misinformation by companies with vested interest in transporting everyone out West?

Their prices are not cheap, unless of course you use the app; I wonder why they structure the incentive that way...
AND tried to bury the dota community in the process. Complete scum.

Depends on screen size and viewing distance.
I'm not sure if Genesis is vastly different, but the wife's G70 is my own personal layer of hell. The tech constantly gets in the way and pisses me off. They can't even figure out how to do interval settings on a windshield wiper. It's awful.
