I couldn't replicate this in Firefox 131 under W11.

Definitely. You can set tiling shortcuts in system settings. Personally, I use my numpad so that e.g. meta + num7 tiles to the top-left. You can also move windows from monitor to monitor that way.

I genuinely don't understand how to use Plex for its primary purpose anymore. The UI is so irritating that I just threw it off my server.

Spotify doesn't seem to suffer from any similar issues. It appears I can reach the music I'd like in the same number of straight-forward clicks as before podcast-related features were introduced.

While I do get your point, Germans specifically handle the lack of umlauts (e.g. in digital spaces that don't allow them) by simply substituting "ä" with "ae", "ö" with "oe" and "ü" with "ue". Similarly, "ß" can be replaced with "ss" without losing much readability at all.
