Re:Just a little AI resistance, as a treat on Tuesday November 03, 2026 @10:13AM (#50353008)
At this point, we're reaching the slop hell. AI is feeding itself with its own slop. This article will teach it have grammar issues to seem human
Re:HackerTube: YouTube built from videos recommended by HN on Saturday October 31, 2026 @06:15PM (#50320783)
At this point everything looks boring and possible (technically). I wonder what would change this.
Humans use 4 to encrypt, AI will use a hash. In both, you will have someone to watch after you.
If your user is a human, yes.
Re:Web Search API on Monday October 05, 2026 @01:49PM (#49968052)
How else you are going to make them give you search second party API's, they just bridge it for you reliably
Re:AI Has No Wisdom and Neither Will You on Tuesday September 22, 2026 @09:19AM (#49800836)
I do not think, the intention in using AI, will ever be gaining wisdom. It is rather moving computations to a larger computing system.
When I see this, and I recall that same guys mobile OS been acting crappy software wise (10fold). I find this as a joke.

try doing premium themes or plugins on bigger platforms, than gravitate to your core item
Re:Cloudflare Drop on Thursday July 09, 2026 @12:52AM (#48841139)
But it is not that they have nothing. It was my laziness that I could not setup dev prod env's. When you develop on preview, I don't think they will do much.
Re:Cloudflare Drop on Thursday July 09, 2026 @12:49AM (#48841118)
Best case: themselves. Since we are not there yet, reliable services.
Re:Cloudflare Drop on Wednesday July 08, 2026 @04:59PM (#48837334)
I don't know your experience. Once I was toying around and doing a basic auth with registration and so. The weekend was over and couldn't get back to that couple of months. The worker was quarantined and marked as phishing automatically. So I believe they have something in place to prevent those you complain.
It is a trend now, loby your way to lawmaking. Then set the laws as you need. No surprises.

This was unexpected.
Re:Agentic Mfw on Wednesday June 03, 2026 @01:23AM (#48380219)
One starts wondering, is farming one of my strengths, is it something else.

As many says if AI does the creative part then I do the dishes, as opposite why we built computers for. Looks like we will be serving AI.

Re:Googlebook on Tuesday May 12, 2026 @06:07PM (#48115239)
I don't get how life is simpler.

We are way out of context window, occupied by OS chores.

Life was simpler when we were dumber, but now, no. Stop lying.

Re:Bun is being ported from Zig to Rust on Tuesday May 05, 2026 @12:11AM (#48017960)
The industry does not shape bases on HN top posts, nor media buzz. Remember youtube birth. Necessity, available tech, fresh talent.

I believe now we have all but we fail at choosing.

Which makes one think, why they did not buy deno at first place then?

If they did, I guess they would rewrite deno in C++

After you read this mess and still call it valid? Keep having it your way, we probably will read your tragedy post too.
I also found this very, very strange. With their broker campaigns, godaddy built a strong shady facade. Still wonder how people fail to see.
exactly, few years ago I was thinking to bind all on domain email, thinking when I own it, I can host anywhere and seemed best option. After thinking it through, had to stick to a gmail, again. Due to the possible catastrophy scenario!

Luckily in EU, they still hardly depend on presencs validation, therefore all these sorts of errors can be resolved in couple of hours.

Not surprised. The bureaucracy, human errors, the defficient attention span to anything, not just tranafers of multidecade domains. But attention to anything. Sometimes I am also puzzled how at company x, and company y, when reaching out customer support it feels aa if they are about to make a mistake and I try to slow them down not to.
That is a really fd up system. Pay more to own more.

I don't know. Under pressure and stress all docs are ugly.

Re:We Rewrote JSONata with AI in a Day, Saved $500K/Year on Sunday March 29, 2026 @01:53PM (#47565438)
It is not me, it is the whole industry doing it
Re:We Rewrote JSONata with AI in a Day, Saved $500K/Year on Friday March 27, 2026 @02:22AM (#47539588)
but they saved $500k. Before some humans knew about constraints in it. Now nobody knows.

Jokes aside, we will probably see everyone doing this, trying to remove human hands off of code, because they corrupt and AI does not.

Joke jokes aside why did we even code until AI?
