That's not really telling us anything. The way you convert a time domain signal to a frequency domain signal, that is fourier analysis. There are other uses for it too, but that is the primary use.

Having had the opportunity to participate and observe the jury system, there is no way I'd ever take a jury trial for a criminal matter. The judge started off the trial by informing the jury pool that despite the state lacking any evidence, we'd need to attest we could find the defendant guilty. Jurors follow the instructions given to them by judges, that is all.

plausible deniability. If your key can be brute forced and your intermediate CA is used by some bad actor, you can just say they brute forced it.

Most of the AirBNB I have tried to book recently are some kind of scam. I get a message immediately from the host that the property is undergoing renovations, but they have another property available. The host tells me to cancel it and pay them via some other platform.

I've had a number of fillings. There was a dentist who put in a filling that defies explanation. I remember the dentist taking too long to put it in. Later in life, it caused issues with the tooth. The dentist who pointed this out took photos and showed me. He somehow cut a square pocket into my tooth. This caused stress risers, which caused cracks to propagate throughout the tooth. The dentist who repaired my tooth could not even explain how this cut was made in my tooth. The tools used to work on teeth generally rotate. The default shape for them to create is a rounded one.
So yes, there are dentist out there who probably aren't qualified to operate a forklift. Much less perform a medical procedure on someone.

Isn't this covered in multiple sci-fi genres? There's no real way to distinguish immortality from what amounts to a pre-planned death around some kind of life extension procedure. As a social group, we're more likely to select something that is effectively "continuation of thought patterns" than we are to actually extend consciousness

isn't this comparison nonsense? When it rains on a farm, the farmer doesn't irrigate. When it rains on a farm, some of the water goes into aquifer. The remaining is runoff. Depending on farming strategy, this may be high in nitrates.
When a data center uses water, it's almost entirely evaporated away in an aeration pond.
