Good, those sites don't deserve money.
Such bs. I rarely spend more than 20s on a recipe page anyways. I scroll quickly to find ingredients box and thats it. Done...
Man I was wondering this same thing. Every single stupid recipe site is just terrible ux. Just show the recipe we don't care about the story.

What an idiot...

Re:Hiring Developers: How to avoid the best on Monday September 06, 2021 @03:37PM (#28437148)
I'm glad there are so many posts like this these days which highlight the ridiculous de-facto process companies use to hire engineers. I've been on both sides of the interviewing process and the lesson is that startups that avoid using this process will gain an advantage on the ones that continue to.

Really quality people are HARD to find. If you send people a pop quiz about probabilities and then some random brain teaser puzzle algo to solve in 30 mins you're gonna lose eventually because your competitors will have the actual quality people.

Re:Joe Rogan, confined to Spotify, is losing influence on Wednesday August 25, 2021 @02:05PM (#28304812)
Echochamber effect here I presume. Joe Rogan is doing just fine on Spotify. He can choose not to extend at the end of his contract, go back to YouTube and continue just where he left off.
Apple doesnt give a shit about the children, this is such a simple and transparent play. If they did, the kids wouldn't still be assembling their phones in China.
Re:Ethereum just activated its ‘London’ hard fork on Thursday August 05, 2021 @01:01PM (#28076435)
Because the validators are chosen randomly by the network.
That is such a bafflingly bad decision. Will politics literally sink the earth eventually ?
Re:Bring back menus, QR codes are terrible on Tuesday June 29, 2021 @08:11AM (#27674718)
Buddy how did you not just leave the place as soon as you saw there's no network connection ?
This is so bad. The premise is "Avoid cliche questions by asking these cliche questions". There's nothing here that forces real answers out of the manager.
Here's what I know: Nobody that's legit fit has a peloton. They train on their own in the gym or they do crossfit. This is apart from the people I know who play sports competitively. What does Peloton give you that crossfit doesnt?
Or this is just another scam to hand out a big $ contract to some IT consultant to implement this.
