Re:Ask HN: Which TV do you recommend for privacy? on Sunday November 01, 2026 @07:54PM (#50331687)
Is this really more complicated than just never connecting it to wifi and then using a dedicated device like AppleTV only?
Election theatrics? I think most know that the only way any of this information will get out is through leaks and not formal processes.

Similarly, had Claude look at my past returns and found mistakes in my records.

I had it prepare an analysis and then found a professional to confirm everything and then handle doing the amendment.

Definitely useful as a second pair of eyes.

Re:Why do we have so many meetings? on Tuesday October 20, 2026 @04:39PM (#50172365)
People don’t want to do the work sandwiched between stating they are going to do A Thing, and then finishing with stating that they did A Thing.

It’s redundant.

Managers don’t care about the actual work. They just care about the “going to do A Thing” and “Finished A Thing” comms.

So those two slices of bread at the end become two meetings.
