Re:Machine learning saves us $1.7M a year on document previews on Wednesday January 27, 2021 @04:04PM (#25933922)
I work in an innovation ML-oriented lab, and we have a hard time identifying use cases with real added values.

So I wondered: who had the initiative to use ML in riviera, the riviera team or the ML team? How do you collabore between the two teams/worlds (production team and data science team)?

Thanks a lot, I didn't expect I would enjoy scrolling through old paintings like I did!

Would you consider introducing a comment section? I'm mostly interested in a few words about the context of the painting or understand some weird elements on the painting, and I'm pretty convinced a comment section would do the job.

Re:Milvus – An Open-Source Vector Similarity Search Engine on Friday January 10, 2020 @08:55PM (#22017506)
Does anyone know how to combine vector similarity search with more conventional field-based search (using elasticsearch for example)? For example, given a set of labeled images, a user should be able to compose a query using a combination of filters (like size or description) along with a reference image (the vector).
