Placebo doesn’t mean literally a sugar pill. It means something that has a positive effect based on perception.
What about hardware that could run crysis3 wouldn’t suffice for web browsing?
When op talks of keeping code small I’m pretty sure they’re talking about all code including dependencies.
I was unfamiliar with the fit test but after checking on it I guess its false positive rate is acceptable because it is used as a screening prior to a more invasive colonoscopy. In other words proper application of the test as a screening tool should result in fewer colonoscopies, not more.
Is the bias always in the same direction regardless of which laws are broken?
Only 11% of errors were reported, there were probably many more.
Also, the standard for tests in the medical world is usually much higher than 11%, except for things that are life threatening for which no better test exists.
Mosquito dunk is some kind of microbial culture that’s supposed to be safe.
If you have a normal size backpack carrying a normal size load like you are going to work or school, it’s easier to slide in a smaller paperback than a bulkier hardcover. The extra volume makes a difference in this case.
A top down view and a 3/4 view can both be isometric.
Top down can be isometric. Isometric means “same measurements.”
It refers to how the viewport is not like a camera above 3D terrain. Instead, you see each point below as though directly above. In other words, you can only ever see the top of an object regardless of whether it is centered or on the edge.
If it wasn’t isometric, you would see more of the sides of objects that are near the edges.
The problem of waste heat alone is basically untenable by the laws of physics.
The ISS dissipates roughly 70kw of heat through 5000 square feet of radiator.
70kw is about 1-3 racks of ai compute.
Basic sysadmin monitoring techniques from twenty years ago would have worked too.
It’s not about the sound being in the language. It most often happens with loan words that are spelled with a w but make a v sound.
It depends on your region, insurance company, and plan.
There are private options for lots of things in Canada, depending on the province.
Without data on what proportion of people are denied and what the consequences are, this isn’t a good faith argument.
On the flip side, cases that would get care in Canada are denied in the USA by private insurance. Private options are far outside the means of most people.
Make their problem everyone else’s problem.
What do you think people on continent x are going to do if there is water on continent y but not continent x…?
Plenty of people could afford blackberries in 2006. Having uber is nothing like having a driver. A MacBook replaces about $50k out of a million dollar recording studio. The rest if it still costs pretty much a million dollars.
I’m not even sure what my point is.
Being a billionaire was never really about having stuff. It was and is about having power.
> 20 years ago, they had things we would want and could never afford
Like what?
Do they sell tvs like this at Walmart?

Netflix is a terrible example, it’s cheap entertainment for the masses. Why would a billionaire watch Netflix when they could get front row and/or box seats to any sporting event or concert in the world and fly there via private jet.
Why would the model bother to check signatures if it doesn’t check tags?
There can be crime without intent, like manslaughter.
If someone invents a new weapon to hurt someone, is the first inflicted injury unprecedented?
The law doesn’t apply to billion dollar corporations.
Something doesn’t make sense here because an electric kettle operating at 120v at less than 10 amps will boil water much faster than the large burner on my stove.
If you’re the only one in the cast who isn’t cgi, it’s basically the same.
Being marginally better than hell is still hell.
I’m just challenging your point that ai doesn’t have source.
Is training code and dataset not source?
It would be fine if they protected property rights if they also protected human rights.
