Re:Data centers in space makes no sense on Wednesday February 04, 2026 @11:35AM (#46887956)
You’re missing one important point: radiated power scales with the fourth power of temperature. Could it be that xAI has a chip capable of operating at very high temperatures?

Re:Celestia – real-time 3D visualization of space on Monday September 15, 2025 @08:35AM (#45248909)
Decades ago, I patched Celestia to add a Star Trek–style warp speed selector, only to realize that even at maximum warp, I was still crawling along like a snail. At least it was a fun hack.

Re:Constrained languages are easier to optimize on Sunday July 27, 2025 @01:33PM (#44702951)
In the same way, I find that constrained languages like Go are a great choice for achieving high-quality code generation with LLMs.

I did this too, now i generate a random pwd long as hell and i do a pwd recovery when i have to log-in so i don’t have to store them anywhere. My master pwd is my email pwd based on a mail server i operate. Yes paranoid is my second name.
here is one, let me know what you think about it:

Someone to rescue in a mountain, rescue team needs to be sync and rescue machines (drones) to be operated in this hostile area.

Just send a drone to run a dedicated 5g network (like a flying wifi AP) and you gain a 5G data link between humans and machines in minutes.

A tactical bubble.

using an API to order eSims from an eSim provider like oasis (now tata) and register it in your core network ?

Re:MQTT vs. Kafka: An IoT Advocate's Perspective on Tuesday March 14, 2023 @05:32PM (#35159096)
Forget MQTT, Redis as a PUB/SUB will do 99% of the job most of the time.
Building a LLM from RFC, W3C specs and billions of websites to generate a web browser engine is no more scifi (but still has to be done)

I miss the old days of IOS :

switch port trunk allowed vlan (add) xxx

Can’t imagine how many outages where caused by the missing « add » command.
