Seems wildly expensive, furthermore not a single mention of "ip" on homepage? Not using rotating ip's, residential proxies?

AKA unusable for high value data.

I've done coherent breathing before bed, 20 minutes. Improves my HRV by 20-30%
They should just limit electric bikes to 15km/h.

If you want to go faster, pedal yourself.

This solves two problems:

- Cool kids aren't cool anymore, biking on their now slow ass fatbikes

- Old people who's mental faculties can't keep up with 25km/h anymore dont end up in so many traffic accidents.

And the other countries have benefited significantly from their hard work too.

I bet Viktor felt too uncomfortable to tell him "no please don't come stay in the USA, you are political poison"
Thank god Vance showed up to support him!

Oh yeah it's so common to threaten allied counties to get what you want. What the hell are you even saying. Stop trying to normalize this insanity.
Re:Trump Links Greenland Threats to Nobel Peace Prize Snub on Monday January 19, 2026 @07:21PM (#46686409)
Wow thanks for that amazing suggestion. Of course we will be patient while your president threatens our allies with war!
You think tech is not going to be affected by this warmongering?

I think it's one of the biggest threats, if not the biggest, for US tech startups wanting to sell to customers outside of the US.

I don't consider myself very politically active, neither are my friends. But we are all looking to detach from the US and its companies. If you are a fledgling startup, in the coming weeks you might just lose out on many of your potential customers.

Americans reading this, please, get your mad dogs under control, one way or another.

What the hell has it come to.

Buddy if you're 27 and already describe your life as very tired, there's more going on than pure aging...
Bullshit, Belastingdienst has been on Azure for a very long time.

Source: I was inside one of their offices for a few Azure trainings.

Not familiar of Oxfords admissions, but if they apply affirmative action as done in other universities in the US, this take of Thomas Sowell is very relevant: https://youtu.be/7AyhaYkikCs?t=57
Re:I don't like curved displays on Monday September 15, 2025 @04:54AM (#45247552)
Sorry, I should have been more clear: the resolution is equal to two 4k monitors glued together.
Re:I don't like curved displays on Friday September 12, 2025 @01:06PM (#45224245)
I have a 2x 4k ultrawide. The Samsung Oddysey 55(?)inch variant.

Not only is it very bright and legible, the fact that the screen takes up my field of view helps me focus.

And I connect it to my MacBook using two seperate HDMI cables, so it's essentially two seperate monitors without bezels. I think I'll probably keep this monitor for a decade or so: any higher DPI and it doesn't make any difference because you have to size up the text. Any brighter and my eyes will burn out of their sockets.

Re:ASML, Mistral AI enter strategic partnership on Tuesday September 09, 2025 @06:13AM (#45179963)
ASML not only sells the machines that makes chips (or analyses them like Yieldstar) but also makes software that customers use to work with the machine's - whether that is for designing, tweaking or analyzing chips.
Re:ASML, Mistral AI enter strategic partnership on Tuesday September 09, 2025 @06:10AM (#45179945)
There is not enough power in the region to facilitate ASML demand. Rumors of dc's opening in France instead.

Used to work here for a few years.

Funny how they are investing in AI, yet the actual use of AI is lagging VERRRRYYY much behind other tech companies. Probably 2+ years behind in adoption of AI tooling.

So they have their work cut out for them when it comes to figuring out how to get their paranoid security team to enable teams to use the tools they just invested 1.7b in.

Re:Show HN: Modelence – Supabase for MongoDB on Thursday August 14, 2025 @02:59PM (#44904242)
Looks cool, good luck with the launch!

A well designed login component to go along with this might do wonders for the adoption.

15.5 billion? Who would spend 25 billion on a bridge? Wow, amazing how they think a 35 billion bridge to Sicily would be worth it.
Ofcourse unrelated to Elon Musk's rejected Robotaxi trademark.
People will look back in 50 years and say "You know they used to say that packaging all food in plastic was fine? Even though the science said otherwise?"
