No, what they are doing is trying to optimize inference to increase margins which leads to degradations. Model deployment is not like websites, you can continuously tune performance based on usage, new memory optimizations, etc.

It feels a little disingenuous to call out your opponent's model failures when Silver's model on Live Election Night also completely bugged out showing Kamala as more favored as she lost state after state: https://web.archive.org/web/20241109030935/https://www.theda...
to build on this further, glyphosate disproportionally targets bifidobacterium and lactobacillus (PMC10330715). It mimics what happens to the gut as people age (PMC4990546) and increasing bifidobacterium, in research, improves dementia symptoms. In the guts of people with allergies, ibs, asthma, and cystic fibrosis there are decreased amounts of certain strains of bifidobacterium.

In mice models, Alzheimer’s is transferrable via gut microbiota. (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41380-023-02216-7?fromPaywa...).

So to say it messes with the gut is no small thing.

Any modicum of research will show how dangerous this is. Despite warning against addiction, sports betting websites engage in dark patterns because whales are where the money is at. Your local bookie isn't engaging in AB testing to see how long before sending you free credit promotions will bring you back to their platform.
