You can look into ajvar, a Serbian sauce with grilled peppers and eggplant. You can make it as spicy as you want by adding hot peppers if you want.

Your website says that the client is open source which is patently false, maybe update that claimed there.
Edit: it was updated and now mentions forking modules but still no public repositories.

That's a very low cost approach, I love it!
I still think the Django ecosystem would benefit from a standardized/packaged approach including migrations. I'll ponder a bit more

This looks great, I'll definitely give it a try.
As many mentioned already, having classic columns and a JSON(B) column seems to be a common solution.
How do you handle data validation for the JSON documents?
My current project uses Django for metadata. I've been thinking about creating a layer similar to model fields in Django. You would declare a JSON "model" through those fields and assign it to the actual model JSON field.

Couldn't you solve that issue with nodeenv in python? This is how I usually add J's to my projects. It will keep node &nom/yarn/whatever else and your js in the venv as well.

Thanks for putting it in context, the Bluetooth API has been a big source of frustration in my exploration of PWAs. So many simple setup apps wouldn't need to be native.
A cross platform Bluetooth API for the web would provide really easy PoC with MCUs.

I used Yatse for many years to control xbmc then Kodi. Always worked well enough though requires to be talk with the media center on the same network so might have to shut VPN and such. I've never tried with jellyfin as I now have a physical remote for my Kodi set top box.

Re:Push notifications are now supported cross-browser
on Tuesday March 28, 2023 @06:09AM (#35338278)
There's definitely a valid use case when building PWA apps.
The problem in previous versions was the impossibility to change the notification service, it is now possible through the `PushManager`.
Re:UV Devices Could Keep Indoor Air Free of Viruses
on Wednesday November 23, 2022 @03:26AM (#33716538)
I haven't seen one of the main arguments against UV efficiency in the context of an HVAC system.
Most common UV solutions simply cannot clean at the speed the air goes through the systems in most buildings. When you have to maintain 6 air changes per hour, the UV solutions are simply not manageable.
There are other limitations but that's the main issue as far as I can tell talking to facility managers.

This is already the case for the install prompt used by PWA. The browser uses an interaction heuristic to send an event that allows a PWA to show an install button.

Just know that VOC sensors are not very reliable in general and eCO2 is completely unreliable. You can't go wrong with NDIR but $60 sounds quite excessive when you can get a senseair S8 for $10-12 on taobao.

on Wednesday May 12, 2021 @04:45AM (#27128150)
How would you say this fares against a kaiterra or tongdy machine for example?
With diy projects, I'm always concerned about managing temperature and humidity impact on readings, especially on sensors like the plantower.
I've had issues in the past with monitors in very humid environments like Thailand and Singapore.
Disclaimer: I also run an environment data platform business

I'm really not a specialist in color theory but have been looking for a library that could consistently return colors for multi charts with no defined number of lines. Most color palettes are a set size (5, 6, 8 colors) but I currently need to chart things with an unknown number of lines. Any suggestion from the mind hive?

Consider that some countries do not have a reliable access to Google backend.
The problem remains when trying to use notifications with a PWA. AFAICT, there's no way to set your own notification service in Chrome/Firefox/Safari.
Re:The Weight of Numbers: Air Pollution and PM2.5
on Tuesday August 14, 2018 @08:00PM (#17762914)
I don't know of any cheap outdoor sensors, they are more tricky than indoor as wind (air flow in the sensor), temperature, humidity and dust become more of a prominent problem.
For a cheap sensor, laser egg publishes API endpoints to get latest data. You can also fairly easily add a plantower to an arduino/raspi kind of setup. Pantower is a sensor that will give you reliable output OOTB, can be improved but good enough.
