Re:Ask HN: Tor network, can it be used for anything else? on Wednesday December 11, 2013 @12:22PM (#6888950)
Sure, you can create a server with a foot in the regular internet and one in TOR. for that matter create two.

Receive https traffic at your Internet address, , then ship across TOR from one onion address to your other TOR connection then back on the Internet.

This is useful for hiding metadata, most importantly, you will have to work to protect the user's client to internet web server end. And protect your ssl keys from NSLs or government sponsored hacking.

Re:Ask HN: If a Hadoop cluster were free, what would you do? on Thursday November 14, 2013 @03:09PM (#6735175)
I have a Tera-butte-ton of security data that I could use hadoop for analysis. Have you a free cluster?
Re:Why strict atheism is unscientific on Thursday October 17, 2013 @01:19PM (#6566722)
There are many religions now and in the past that have dire consequences for non believers and doom to those who do not follow the religious laws dictated by the particular god of that religion. My question to you is which one should we follow? To be safe should we follow all of them? and what about the many religions that forbid other gods? what do we do at that avenue? In case you reply "Christian, of course!" Which sect? Which version of the bible? From what I can see, we will have to cycle through all the hells, or possibly none. Can someone tell me the best hell to shoot for?
They are only answering the "OMG Ponies!!" ones, and ignoring the "What will you do with this actual limitation?" ones. Marketing, not engineering.
