I wonder what the exit plan is. One time conversion of social security into Trump accounts and call it a day?
Never underestimate the power of geometric growth. 3 years ago the idea of writing code with llm didn't seem realistic.
Re:Qwen3.8 is launching and going open-weight soon on Sunday July 19, 2026 @02:06PM (#48970334)
This is reminiscent of the operating system wars and browser wars. In the end there will only be 2 models that can survive. 1: give it away for free or 2: locked in with top notch hardware.
It's nice but should be half as much.
MDM is just parental control for adults.

That's been my experience as well switching from Opus to Codex. Reasoning takes longer but answers are precise. Claude is sloppy in comparison.
Re:Why Developers Keep Choosing Claude over Every Other AI on Thursday February 26, 2026 @11:41AM (#47168438)
I started using Codex 5.3. Compare to Opus 4.6, it's more precise in pinning down bugs and more concise with code. Opus can be best described as distracted and easily agreeable. Codex actually digs deeper for root causes and push back when I'm wrong.
Re:"Car Wash" test with 53 models on Monday February 23, 2026 @04:00PM (#47128734)

Re:Tesla ending Models S and X production on Wednesday January 28, 2026 @10:53PM (#46805627)
I can't remember when was the last S/X refresh. It's nuts they just let it go stale and shut the factory down.
Re:Velox: A Port of Tauri to Swift by Miguel de Icaza on Tuesday January 27, 2026 @12:14PM (#46782967)
Apple really needs to decouple swift debug and profiling tools from Xcode. I've been using vscode for swift work but hate having to switch back to Xcode for the tools.
It's an acid dream.
