Rinse provides dry cleaning and laundry delivery services to customers in twelve metropolitan areas in the US and Canada. We have sophisticated logistics optimization software, a polished consumer product, and firm business fundamentals. We're now over a decade old - this is a stable, yet consistently growing and innovating, company.
Our engineering team is distributed across the United States and internationally, and has been entirely remote for years now, but a desk can be provided in the above cities if you'd prefer.
We're open to both newly-graduated engineers or more senior engineers, provided they meet our bar. We're particularly interested in true full-stack engineers, with strong React / Typescript / CSS skills to complement comfort in a Python / Django environment. We're also seeking engineers with experience leveraging AI to automate complex operational processes.
This season, we're particularly interested in new grads or junior engineers, to round out the team.
We're also looking for people with experience manipulating video data at scale, for computer vision applications. Similarly, we're interested in adding people with experience building and managing MCP services.
You will join a high-caliber team where collaboration, honesty, and open communication are at the core of everything we do.

This team is embedded into the engineering organization and is intimately involved in R&D efforts as well as supporting our corporate functions. We're largely cloud-based, with a meaningful MacOS and Linux fleet and a bit of on-premises hardware. We're leaning into an AI-supported IT function; we expect you to be making forward progress, not simply responding to tickets.

It looks like this MacBook Neo doesn't even have an option for 16GB, unfortunately.
It really depends on your phase in life, and your lifestyle. I have kids, a home office, a community, and outdoor hobbies, so the work-from-home lifestyle is great for me. And, I can meet colleagues for lunch or strategy sessions on occasion as necessary.
If you want to socialize with coworkers and minimize time at home, then find an in-office work environment! There are lots of them out there - Rinse isn't quite for you.
See https://www.rinse.com/contact/#locations-heading
Most developers prefer to work from home, though! We're fully remote, and are free to mostly work from home or a co-working facility instead of one of our potentially-noisy offices.

- Communicate cross-functionally, to internal stakeholders at all levels
- Navigate our (primarily Linux) technical environment
- Spearhead projects to improve our technology's security, reliability, and functionality
- Facilitate our corporate efficiency via desktop administration
