where would they send that info without internet?
>they'd rather stay independent than inherit that corporate value system. Anthropic sells itself as that independent alternative

No? They're a massive AI company about to IPO. I genuinely don't know how someone would think this

Sounds like Claude wrote this thing too.

Also:

"I get why small startups refuse buyouts even when big tech waves cash" this is not really true

Re:MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display and Touch on Wednesday October 28, 2026 @06:47PM (#50282033)
Hahahaha have you even used macOS starting with tahoe? the liquid glass ui was made for touch! it is literally the antithesis of mouse-driven design. the buttons are large and circular, with huge corner radii. huge gaps in between them as well.
Ok while I agree with the substance of the article I just can't help myself:

>me, “So what did you think?” And I just responded with, “Forget Elizabeth Holmes.

Sigh. Why do we need to forget her?

>I heard a woman yell, “Criminal!”

In the theater? I'll take things that never happened for 500, Alex

>Think about Elizabeth Holmes

Who? We already forgot her

Today I learned that building a tunnel is facism

Yep still same day. Sometimes they offer 3 hour delivery.
Re:An hour of audio transcribed in about 13s on MacBook Air on Tuesday October 13, 2026 @08:41AM (#50070754)
Is it even worth using apple's? Maybe they have improved it but when they first started using it to transcribe voice memos it was laughably bad (in my experience). I defaulted to whisper.cpp
Sisyphus' updater
Well she doesn't have the 500k. This is akin to saying we should force people out if market conditions make their house more expensive. That seems like a really strange consequence to all this, idk
The sentence can't increase, it's mathematically impossible. There's no additional number of years the judge could have given.
> intent of the video was to prejudice the jury

It was turned over for 'prejudice' to the judge, not the jury. So this take isn't supported by the decision

Is it possible the next administration sues to break them up? Couldn't they also just launch endless investigations of the owners until they spun it off into its own thing
Oh this is hilarious. Didn't AT&T also acquire HBO and spin them off too?
Re:GTA5 in the Browser on Tuesday October 06, 2026 @03:25PM (#49982867)
What? I don't understand the implication here. You think the entire s&p will crash because hackers are porting games?

This was incredible to read. Thanks for submitting!!

Common misconception, this only affects debt that is locked in with long-term notes like the 10 year. A significant amount of debt is short term and refinances continuously, so the 10 year would go sky high if inflation climbs as investors demand a higher premium to invest with the treasury. So it doesn't evade all debt unfortunately
Yes but do they want that or do they want the government to continue operating? They can't have both.
Re:GPT 6.1 Sol: Near-Astra intelligence for a fifth of the price on Wednesday September 30, 2026 @09:45AM (#49908897)
This is worse than GPT4 32k? which was significantly more expensive?
Re:Sonnet 5.5 on Monday September 28, 2026 @02:10PM (#49882022)
I'm loving the tit for tat cost charts these guys are doing. Just a few days ago it looked like OpenAI ruled the cost pareto frontier. Not even a week later and Anthropic is taking the charts again. See you guys same time next week?
This would be like Boeing refusing to let the DoD fly a military 737 at over 800MPH, and they designate them a supply chain risk because they really really want to make the plane go past 800MPH.
Re:How we made claude.ai 3x faster in two weeks on Wednesday September 23, 2026 @10:07PM (#49825323)
Through critical thinking I believe this would actually be akin to them commenting that AirPods firmware, written in swift, is bad because of swift limitations.

In both instances, it's a side point that is actually tangentially related to the first. Not completely unrelated as you are implying

Re:How we made claude.ai 3x faster in two weeks on Wednesday September 23, 2026 @10:03PM (#49825304)
I struggle to understand this argument. It is very likely that the user who is complaining about Opus 5.5 would be unable to do the very tasks anthropic is mentioning in their blog post, because of the refusals.

In a blog post about Claude, i find it strange you get upset when people talk about Claude

Re:Claude Opus 5.5 on Tuesday September 22, 2026 @10:58PM (#49811109)
OP replied to a comment of mine, they use Deepseek harness:

Re:Claude Opus 5.5 on Tuesday September 22, 2026 @10:17PM (#49810852)
That's incredible, might just switch myself. Thank you!!
Re:Claude Opus 5.5 on Tuesday September 22, 2026 @04:50PM (#49807892)
What harness do you use with it? Are you using v4.1flash via open router ?
Re:GPT-6 Sol and Luna on Tuesday September 22, 2026 @03:28PM (#49806846)
then it should be GPT 5.6 Sol vs. GPT 6 Sol
Re:Xiaomi MiMo v2.6 on Tuesday September 22, 2026 @09:38AM (#49801116)
I've noticed the context loss in subsequent turns, it's so strange. For me it happens whenever I stop gemini mid prompt. Sometimes its response annoys me, so I'll hit stop frequently. And then subsequent msgs seem to go through like a new chat where it forgets what we were talking about.
