This is so close to working on ios. Needs way to rotate image after it is uploaded.
Re:Industrial PC market prefers Windows 7 to 8 on Sunday March 10, 2013 @10:07PM (#5354491)
Obviously. We're, primarily customer driven though so I'm sure we will need to ship it some time in the nearish future.
Re:First Sale Under Siege: If You Bought It, You Should Own It on Sunday December 23, 2012 @02:05PM (#4960268)
How does this currently apply to software? Specifically desktop software apps, and OSs.
Was it worth it? Really?
Re:Napolitano: I don't use email at all on Sunday September 30, 2012 @01:29AM (#4592090)
Would they be wrong? I'm not certain about that. From the single clip I would believe that maybe she is.
Re:BERG Little Printer available to pre-order on Tuesday August 14, 2012 @07:05AM (#4380283)
You know, my mom still prints 80% of her emails. Maybe she needs this.
Re:Top 1000 Most Visited Articles on Wikipedia in 2012. on Thursday July 05, 2012 @09:35AM (#4202929)
"404 Error" made it to number 6! Proves that numbered error codes are not so user friendly.

Although at first I thought it was Wikipedia's own 404 page and was going to comment on how they must have a lot Of broken links.

I guess I don't see the point. The data is stored on their servers where they offer the same "promise" that they won't sell your data either.

The only benefit I see is a central location of all data.

We're starting this already? Yawn.
Re:Here is Godaddy’s statement in support of SOPA on Thursday December 22, 2011 @12:01PM (#3382243)
From the post: "protecting American consumers from the dangers that they face on-line"

Seriously? I dont need someone to protect me online. It's. It the Wild West. Who will protect me from the crap they sell on late night TV? Maybe we should put a stop to infomercials next.

I thought the supporters of this were supposed to be anti "big government". Seems like this bill is just imposing more government regulations.

Re:Google was awarded US Patent 8,078,349 for driverless car on Thursday December 15, 2011 @07:17AM (#3355846)
this sounds interesting: "In some embodiments, a URL stored as a QR Code may enable the autonomous vehicle to download new instructions." I wonder how that's going to work.
Re:Show HN: Early Adopter cred from your Twitter & Facebook IDs on Wednesday December 07, 2011 @03:11PM (#3325708)
AFAIK that's all pretty standard stuff. What are you afraid of?
Re:Poll: Do you use an adblocker? on Wednesday December 07, 2011 @12:37PM (#3324815)
AdBlock. It's the main reason I primarily use Atomic Browser on iOS. Ads on mobile are just ridiculous.
Re:Code snippets on Microsoft website shown in form of images. on Wednesday December 07, 2011 @07:53AM (#3323539)
You are probably right. I've found the MSDN pretty inconsistent. There are a number of C#/VB.net examples that don't have any syntax highlighting at all.

It all depends which area you are in.

While I don't hate it... it does look familiar... http://i.imgur.com/fEHbB.jpg

I just hope they make every page consistent. What annoyed me about the current navigation is that the links move around, and Reader is tucked far away under More.

Re:Introducing the Gmail app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch on Wednesday November 02, 2011 @01:07PM (#3187788)
I guess I fail to see the point of using this app. For me the mail.app and active sync have been working great. I get push, I can attach files, etc.

Other than better searching, and different management I don't know why this would be better.

Re:From Microsoft: Firefox with Bing on Wednesday October 26, 2011 @01:23PM (#3159549)
Does this mean Microsoft is finally going to give up on IE?
Re:The disappearing file system and the new UI metaphor on Friday September 16, 2011 @01:30PM (#3005396)
While I love the simplicity of iOS, the second you need to do anything remotely complicated your stuck.

If I want to send said Keynote document, Keynote must know about my email program, conversely if I receive a Keynote file my email program must know about Keynote. I have little faith that my daily file handling can be completely abstracted.
