Completely agree. Just another example of people over reacting. The other fun part is people trying to explain how it was okay back in '12, but now it's a tragedy.
Re:Technology firms as a threat to basic liberties on Monday March 05, 2018 @08:58AM (#16521035)
While their intentions may not have changed, the power and influence they have accumulated has changed a lot. Face recognition and virtual assistants that seem to always be listening without your consent or knowledge bothers people.

Re:What Happens When Doctors Only Take Cash (2017) on Monday January 15, 2018 @04:23PM (#16153572)

Re:North Carolina Is Ordered to Redraw Its Congressional Map on Wednesday January 10, 2018 @11:25AM (#16116212)

Re:To Slow Global Warming, We Need Nuclear Power (Op-Ed) on Thursday December 22, 2016 @08:29AM (#13237106)
"In 30 years" lol, at least the amount of time claimed for the solution is becoming more realistic. 20 years ago, people claimed solar was going to take over in "10 years".

Re:Apprenticeships: Useful Alternative, Tough to Implement on Monday December 05, 2016 @02:00PM (#13108206)

Re:Video Games Are Changing the Way Soccer Is Played on Friday October 21, 2016 @08:16AM (#12759722)
I heard something similar about football the other day. The advanced games are helping kids learn to to read defences and how to counter.
Re:Soaring Student Debt Prompts Calls for Relief on Tuesday September 13, 2016 @11:54AM (#12489414)
How about colleges and universities stop price gauging the population? Or, eliminate student loans, so the population will not be able to afford their ridiculous rates and force the cost down.
