Nobody will have any interest if they are not open
EU is pushing browser settings instead of cookie banners. Maybe after 10+ years of trial and error consumers will actually get something viable.
Then again, the lobbying and resistance from Chrome must be unreal because it would be pretty huge blow for them to enable such setting.
I cannot find a setting to disable the gradient. It's very annoying indeed.
Didn't you see the example on the website? It can set-up a Python 3 environment. Duh!
From their own example "Setting up a Python 3 environment" is best it can do.
It's not surprising. Code is cheap nowadays because of AI. I reckon more companies will follow suit.
Well well how to turn tables..
> they believe no one else will act responsibly, so they must do it themselves, despite the risk.
I do not get it. So what if they get there "first"? OpenAI will get there in 3-6 months, China will get there in a year or less. As seen with Opus/Fable.
That is why it is not a "List of things you can have tomorrow" but a "Luxury list".
When you have time, health and no stress - that is the luxury OP is talking about.
You don't even need to make more money if you have all those things. If you know your health is insured and you are healthy, you have a decent place where you can feel safe and sleep until late mornings and you do not have to worry about how much food costs - you basically live like a king.
I'm sure that the 3 users they have are very pissed about this news.
If there was some kind of legislation for essential apps to have open api then it would not be a problem as people could use AI to create said apps and risk would be on the consumer as only the API would be under the responsibility of the corporation.
I love how comments that point the strong and proven connection of the OP to the Epstein islands are either dead, flagged or removed.
You might be on to something here.
I'll upgrade M3 Air only when Mx Pro/Ultra can run Opus level perf locally. Otherwise what's the point.
Yeah I am not from US so this does not concern me.
Absolutely, by 1% of developers. So analogy would be that those 1% would understand the code fully in the coming years.
To be fair nobody codes in ASM and things are fine for decades.
Good. Competition is great for consumers.
Ironic, as AI can probably build this app locally in an hour or so.
Maybe. It wrote C code that override some of my hardware without a single complaints. Try it

No link to contact support, on help page no way to contact the actual support. Classic Musk tech.
Agree, isn't this precisely what credit-card companies promise to cover? I'd think I would just claim flight-interruption with the credit card insurance and it should cover all expenses.
The animation of the background makes this blog very difficult to read :)
I think after the AI crash the biggest winner will be Apple.
They will release MacBook Pro M10 or whatever that can comfortably run Opus5 levels of performance local model for software development/general ai that is baked in the MacOS for 7k USD.
It's just a long ad for his product - humanlayer.
Because their ego got hurt that a big project decided to not use their "amazing" language.
> How could they he struggling?
They are just not as good. I bought GoPro10 ~5 years ago and it constantly overheats. Very unreliable. It was the first and last time I bought GoPro.
Is apple making electronics? I thought they are made in India and China.
