Is there any evidence he's ever driven (or even ridden in) a production unit?
You need the same (and probably more) robust controls in place as you would use for a more junior developer.
A human will be influenced by the potential outcome of any proposed solution. For example they might worry about the impact to their employment status if they are wrong, while an LLM will just spit out an answer that is "most likely correct".
Just a quick point of clarification for anyone trying to look this up. The correct term is "gauge" (distance between the rails) instead of "wheelbase" (distance between front and rear wheels). Most European countries use tracks with a gauge of 1,435mm but Ukraine uses 1,520mm.

I've moved on to MacOS for work and Arch Linux for home but Slackware will always have a special place as my intro to Linux and understanding what actually goes on beneath the surface on a computer.
I can't count the number of late-night hours I spent in high school learning about Linux and playing DroidBattles on a second-hand, beat-up Toshiba Portégé running Slackware.
In all seriousness, the great thing about a standard like this is that it is tool agnostic.
Jokes aside, I feel like Slashdot has had some issues for a while and the purchase by Dice just accelerated them. They want a large amount of ad revenue from a niche site. It's hard to have quality and quantity, especially when you are more focused on the money.
- A lot of people who I think of as 'general users' flocked to Slashdot because it was the place to be if you wanted to know what was going on in the tech world. - The quality of Slashdot moderation -> articles -> comments declined overtime. Possibly, this was to attract more general users for ad revenue. - Slashdot moderation isn't as centralized or enforced as HN or a sub Reddit. This isn't a problem if everyone wants to stay on topic and discuss the details of the article but with so many general users you end up with: - "Beta" - "Typical Slashdot" - "I for one welcome our new [INSERT TOPIC] overlords" as highly rated comments again and again.
This is not the case with Fast.js as it breaks away from the language specifications. I'd much rather build, profile, and then optimize the few areas that actually require better performance than potentially introduce bugs by replacing the built-in methods.
I still love Vim and use it for editing single files or whenever I remote in to another machine but this new generation of text editor / IDE hybrids just fit my project workflow a bit better.
Developers will pay decent money for any editor that helps them create better code (and thus more money). :-P
I'm excited to see what Apple comes up with (though overall I'm not a fan) and I'm also looking forward to the Razer Nabu. I feel like the current offerings in the area are V0.* and they'll be the first 1.0s.
I do like the built in power system.
Passing data to separate components without a shared parent is outside of what React is trying to accomplish but I've handled it before by passing a Backbone model to the separate components as props.
I work at an online marketing firm and I've seen dozens of companies come to us for help with the process. RapGenius shouldn't get preferential treatment.
I took a few minutes to catch up on what JKB is saying and
A) His primary concern seem to be to promote all of the work he's done for women in IT and to make himself seem like a victim because of the backlash from his ramblings about PG.
B) he's completely ignoring PG's side of the story and continuing to promote the ideas mentioned in A.
I'm so sick of the insanity surrounding the issue of the lack of women in IT. Yes, it's a real problem and steps should be taken to fix it but the tsunami of hate that is aimed at anyone who is portrayed as remotely uncaring / oblivious to the issue is beyond disgusting. This is not how to make things better.
- says people should be judged by actions not intent.
- writes a post that blows things way out of proportional and implies Ben is a sexist starting with the sensational title.
- then says that Joyent doesn't need to clarify their actions because their intent was to focus on Ben's actions
A system-wide software glitch could also cause quite a mess in a dense city.
I think this could be cool but I would prefer my packages to be delivered by the Planet Express ship.
