I love how there is always an aspiring fiction writer in the comments. Woefully ignorant of the story, has an unrealistic expectation of limitless sevices. It must be cathartic to write victim hood takes like this.

sad to see this get downvoted because it does not go along with the youtube bashing sentiment, the amount of people who think other video platforms will not have copyright claim problems is ridiculously high.

Flee to other platforms and get their videos taken down too. It’s so ridiculous to see the majority of the comments here not to understand the simple reality that other platforms also have to adhere to these copyright laws.

It sounds harmless because it omits the incredibly complex process of developing immunity.
Your body basically is trying to do a sort of brute force/random combination of immune cells on the retrieved virus spike proteins until it comes up with the right combination.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somatic_hypermutation
This process can result in B cells that produce antibodies which stick to virus proteins but also stick to your own cells. The B cells are essentially permanent, that’s how you develop lasting immunity, that unfortunately also means you have lasting immunity on one of your own cell types — autoimmunity https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autoimmune_disease

I agree, TDS is a pretty catchy term when you want to deflect from trumps corruption.

What a reductionist argument. OC’s argument is perfectly reasonable considering trump’s history and his previous actions. I’ll never understand why certain people feel the need to feign ignorance about reality and make false assertions that such criticism comes from disdain, and not from a simple observation of past behavior.

This is laughably ridiculous and not scalable at all. Stores close and prop up all the the time. Not everyone thinks of signing up for google maps. And besides where is the manpower to do verification of millions of stores every day? It’s very easy think something is easy until you actually think of the real world details.

I interviewed there. It is not as dark as you put it. They admit they have certain problems with how they display ads, and how they draw in more people. They're acutely aware that they've yet to figure out a mature way to monetize the site without irritating the users. These are trials. Different teams come up different ideas and they want to try them out and see if it works out. Their CEO is very aware of criticisms like these.

Thing is you don't need such tutorials for other text editors, you know how to use them intuitively. This itself is a barrier for entry for most people, people who manage to cross this barrier prove they've some initiative and motiviation to spend time in learning something that makes them more productive, they're more likely not to shy away from obscure tasks which may appear difficult on the surface.
Re:Technical Interview Performance by Editor, OS, and Language
on Wednesday September 20, 2017 @03:37AM (#15291533)
This is exactly his point. Taking the initiative and spending time to learn something like vim, not giving up, looking for tutorials and working through them just shows the person is willing to endure some hardship to gain something good in return.

I've a genuine question here. So, what are the STEM graduates doing who didn't want to work for the cheap wages? Did they find something that pays better? If not, why didn't they take up the lower wage job since it's better than nothing?
