Re:Amazon Unveils $199 Kindle Fire Tablet on Thursday September 29, 2011 @09:11AM (#3052281)
"This populist attitude has been missing from the tablet market since the iPad's release." I do not agree with this at all. Before the iPad the tablet market was ~$1500 laptops. Now amazon has come out with a tablet that they did not have to design the hardware or software. Great, but do not knock the iPad for price, as it cost something to create a design people want to buy.
Re:Armstrong to Nasa: You're embarrassing on Friday September 23, 2011 @01:32PM (#3030805)
I strongly disagree with the notion that NASA is lost in middle management hell. Do you know how many successful missions they have running right now, that are to the benefit of all? Dawn, Chanda, Hubble, Messenger, Cassini, GRAIL, 2 current mars missions, one halfway to pluto, another on its way to jupiter. Not to mention all of the valuable earth research. Manned missions are important for inspiring and our long term survival. But we can afford to take a break. The private sector in the US is doing really well. Nasa is getting ready to send people on a long term mission. Cut them some slack.
You are wrong. I won every case (~5) filed against me over ~3 years working at Tech Support. If you have proper documentation as to why you fired someone you do not have to pay unemployment insurance.

can you explain some of the thinking behind the flip slide? It was bigger and didn't add much function. Thanks
