We just let the LLMs rip and spend most of our time in the sleeping pods or the buffet. Six figures for days of relaxation. It truly is the good life.

I think a lot of "mathematicians" are saddened by the sudden realization they are not even interested in it and were only in it for status and prestige. A lot of them are such pretentious tools that they willingly wasted their lives doing the absurd PhD rituals. Academia is dead.

You just said in another comment that you use Claude Opus 5 to generate the video in a single shot. What about it won't work?

Why do I need to use this? Why can't I just use the LLMs directly to generate lectures if I want?

Lay explains things very clearly and it's very good for going back to when I need to review something. Lay covers all the foundational linear algebra topics you would need for say, ML or graphics programming. I found that roughly the first half of LADR felt like a review of what Lay covered.

"Linear Algebra and Its Applications" by David Lay is the best introductory linear algebra textbook, hands down. Love it.

I think Stewart's Calculus is excellent and it is rightfully the standard textbook. No modifications needed in my opinion.

The Fields medal is awarded to those who are the best at using LLMs (e.g. vibe-coding Lean) and those with the best WordPress blog with blurry math images. It is a huge honor in the vibe-coding community.

You could try it but I don't think it's going to work. Go ahead, try it.

That means the post was good, even though the blurry math images are illegible. But yes, as a Fields medalist he is an expert on LLMs.

Well you've insulted me like 50 times, so I think you're the one who should chill, my good sir. All I did was ask a couple of sincere questions and I'm met with a barrage of insults, yet no answers. Interesting. Also, I honestly have not heard or read anything Donald Trump has said in years.

You've got me all wrong. My problem is not with diversity per se, but people who feel the need to shove diversity down everyone's throat. Virtue signalling, I think they call it. I come here for tech, not politics.

No. They're free to choose diverse skin tones if they want, but they presented it as if they don't have a choice.

Or maybe Hacker Terry? He's such a hacker he's got a WordPress blog with unreadable images for his math expressions. Color me IMPRESSED. Let's not forget he's got some some excellent videos on YouTube of him vibe-coding some LEAN, with audio quality so good I can barely hear him!

I'm all for this. I don't think mathematics should be done as a profession. If you can't find free time to do it, it's obviously not that important to you. Open source software works pretty well, doesn't it? Why not math?
