Re:Are Electric Cars That Much Cheaper to Operate Than ICE?

The reason to use EVs is not just based on the source of electricity. In a traffic jam, the quality of air I breathe would be so much better if all vehicles were EVs.

Thanks for the causal ageism from someone who is in their 40s or more now... The dev lead did not know something very useful for the project, this could be some one in their 20s, 30s, 40s or 50s... knowledge or lack of knowledge does not differentiate...

Ah... the internet is still alive in bits and pieces! I know where I will be spending some time this weekend.

Hmm.. EMC (which essentially was Smoking Joe T as the CEO for most its limelight years) did quite well with acquisitions, Data Domain, Isilon, VMware and many more smaller acquisitions. They never bought a company to inherit their cash flow but saw an opportunity to invest and grow their business by adding their amazing sales machinery which was stellar as well.

Internal culture, process and behavior is what decides if a job is stressful.. while at Amazon I worked fewer hours outside work hours but was a lot more stressed as every one around you is busy proving their worth than looking at what needs to get done collectively.

Amazon's orientation and internal culture is structured to make one think that it is a matter of personal pride and worth and if you do not align you are worthless.. it is a mind F** for fresh college hires.. I like to think Amazon is the tech industries' Pedo***..
