Re:How to Make a Nintendo 64 Game in 2026 on Thursday August 06, 2026 @05:04PM (#49202542)
What flash cart does your system run on? And do you have any docs about how to get it up and running? I'd love to get TAS stuff running on my N64, has been a dream for a while
Yep, confirmed. Off to Codex I guess..
There's an AI layer built into most ATS systems as well as LinkedIn and Indeed
You can use a platform like Respondent to recruit extremely specific demographics. It's not cheap, but if you're strategic with your interview questions you can get really concrete directional signals with as few as five participants.
Did this retailer start with an "O"? Ran into a similar situation myself
But then you have to drive a Tesla? Limiting the available cars you’re willing to purchase strictly to adhere to a perceived moral high ground feels incredibly naive to me. And privileged, tbh. Teslas are in no way affordable.

Agreed, this post is a waste of time

Re:Elon Musk on Remote Work on Wednesday June 01, 2022 @11:02AM (#31582818)
I could tell you stories about how remote work has made my team exponentially more productive, but what would it matter? Anecdata is cheap.

Sounds like you’ve been making the wrong hiring decisions, honestly.

Re:The Ainu, Japan’s Indigenous People on Sunday May 24, 2020 @12:11AM (#23289014)
I visited the Ainu Museum in in Hokkaido about five years ago, and at least in that modern day setup they did not treat the bears well. There were two bears in small cages, and for 100 yen tourists could feed them "crackers" through a long metal tube. It was heartbreaking to see.

Re:Maker Faire halts operations and lays off all staff on Friday June 07, 2019 @11:14PM (#20130404)
Worked there for a couple of years and really loved it. The people were wonderful, and the Faires were an incredible experience. It will be missed.
Re:Hi-Ten Bomberman on Saturday January 05, 2019 @04:12PM (#18834301)
I was OBSESSED with this game when I was a kid. Always bummed that it was never ported to anything else, the design style was a lot of fun.

Fun fact: Billy West (Fry from Futurama) did some of the voice acting for this game!

How are you translating the sketches into files that work with Axidraw? I have one as well and would love to do the same!

I like Feedly quite a lot and have been using it for years
Embarking on a similar process at my company, and hit a similar wall using symbols in Sketch. They're great, but are a pain to maintain for a pattern library project.

We had a breakthrough last week when InVision updated their Craft plugin for Sketch to include Library [1]. Well worth a look, we've tried poking holes and it's held up. Syncs seamlessly across Dropbox/etc and allows for on-the-fly updates that go out to the team "magically". Requires education to make sure our junior designers aren't accidentally updating styles cross-team, but outside of that works as advertised. Very impressive for a v1!

Re:Show HN: Turn sketches on paper into app prototypes on Tuesday April 29, 2014 @03:13PM (#7669306)
Nice! Really cool feature.

In my comment I was more referring to the iPhone app side of things as that's my typical use case. I noticed that I need an active connection to do pretty much anything.

Re:Show HN: Turn sketches on paper into app prototypes on Tuesday April 29, 2014 @10:56AM (#7667376)
I love this! I could see this being a HUGE timesaver with my workflow.

Question for you: Is working with prototypes offline in your roadmap? I have limited connectivity where I work, and playing with your app has been troublesome.

Thanks!

Re:Bootstrap 2.3 Released on Friday February 08, 2013 @11:09AM (#5188488)
Definitely agree. My company has been switching over to a centralized version of Bootstrap for our internal applications (over 300 in total, maybe 40 use Bootstrap so far). I oversee the upgrade process, and quickly/easily doing so remains a hurtle I have yet to gracefully overcome.

The best solution I've been able to cook up is adapting their changelog into a step-by step tutorial for developers to use when upgrading, though I'd love to hear any suggestions on improving that process!
