I would really love to use it but when are you going to support SHA256? I have SHA256 repo and I don’t want to rewrite all history especially when Git 3 is moving to SHA256 anyway.

"The point of smart contracts is to have code you can actually trust."

That’s very naive thing to expect from code.

As the decentralised crypto experiment shown us, hierarchical trust has its benefits.

just WASD :( Arrows are for driving. Not sure why the split, when you drive, you can't walk, obviously.
I think that for situations like this we should invent a device that can hold information for an arbitrary amount of time even without electricity. Maybe we could call it "BOOK" or something like that.

Why should I care?
Luleč is really amazing and the food they have there is top.
If he created a startup to do the exactly same thing, he would be a millionaire.
LHC has nothing to do with it but American masochism can explain a lot of it. If you vote for oppressors what would you expect than oppression?
Re:Mistral Large 4 on Tuesday October 06, 2026 @04:57PM (#49984026)
You don’t care about Latvia and I don’t care about some dickhead who "lives in Europe" and knows it all. And I’m not even from Latvia, you’re just pathetic.
Re:Mistral Large 4 on Tuesday October 06, 2026 @04:54PM (#49983975)
You just made that up.
Re:ChatGPT Pro 500 on Tuesday September 29, 2026 @02:55PM (#49898551)
Are you serious? If you used 10$ of your subscription until 10th of month and then prices changed, well, the rest of your subscription uses new prices, that's basic math.
Re:ChatGPT Pro 500 on Tuesday September 29, 2026 @02:51PM (#49898489)
I think that 100$ subscription is expensive but I'm just European peasant developer, not SF area oligarch.
And? That doesn’t mean it’s not true.

Some people say that AI is glorified spellchecker and then they complain when it’s used like a glorified spellchecker.

Re:Boards of Casio on Friday September 25, 2026 @12:05PM (#49846417)
CZ sounds is somehow special.

I have CZ-101 and CZ-5000, I tried many emulations and wrote some myself but I also read technical manuals and what goes on analog side, after DAC, oh boy. The synth is is digital at the core but the sound is very much shaped by the rest of the synth.

I love that machine.

Re:Boards of Casio on Friday September 25, 2026 @09:49AM (#49844677)
BoC AND Casio CZ mentioned both in same article? I’m sold.
Re:Boards of Casio on Friday September 25, 2026 @09:49AM (#49844665)
I you have CZ-5000 you’re probably aware of Satoshi & Makoto who are making music using only CZ-5000 with its 8-track sequencer.

Mining uranium in Spain would destroy environment and involve legal slavery?

Oh boy, they are sooooo profitable that there are wars around them.
I’m older (not in UK, in EU) and cheques are something weird from old movies. Never seen one in real life and concept is really strange.

Because pouring millions of tons of concrete to the ground is very environment friendly.

Re:Was Modern Art a CIA Psy-Op? (2020) on Tuesday August 25, 2026 @07:29AM (#49432119)
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I would prefer "abstract New York no. 41715" to anything remotely connected to furries.

And that's fine, people have different tastes, there's nothing wrong with it.

Re:Claude Code May–August 2026 weekly limits promotion on Tuesday August 18, 2026 @04:13PM (#49351987)
Maybe. But if Claude is fine with my prompts while Codex uses them as an excuse to burn tokens. I have nothing against the model, they are more or less on pair, it’s just that Claude is giving me more value for same money.
Re:Claude Code May–August 2026 weekly limits promotion on Tuesday August 18, 2026 @02:18PM (#49350085)
I really would like to see OpenAI’s focus on efficiency but everytime I use Codex, it wastes tokens like there’s no tomorrow, hitting week limit in a day, where I’m able to use Claude just fine. Maybe it’s based on the codebase, I don’t know, but I have better results with Claude than Codex.
