4chan is too stupid to tell the difference between a bot and a liberal
It's basically propaganda. Propaganda is generally agreed to be a bad thing for a true democracy.
It's also kind of stupid. As in, very tiny amounts the things that the "joke" tries to attack are based in reality. Its as if they cannot accept that large numbers of progressive or liberal minded people exist.
I'm still not convinced that the average CEO actually does any work. So calling them a "worker" is a stretch.
Yeah there are a ton of pictures of Natural gas and Coal power plants. Either one of them could have been used in the picture.
Re:Amazon raises minimum wage to $15 for all US employees on Tuesday October 02, 2018 @01:23PM (#18123702)
> The problem is not the cost; the money exists in the economic system, clearly. It's simply an allocation issue

Yeah I really agree with this statement a lot

Re:iOS 12 released on Monday September 17, 2018 @03:48PM (#18009339)
Yep, I feel safe with Apple right now. Who knows what tomorrow may bring.
Wait, what is this? What happened?
Jeez. This is why I will never spend any real money on Amazon or Apple to purchase digital copies of movies. I want to be sure I'll still own those movies in 30 years.
I'll join you if anyone is starting a bank.
This looks really nice.
Good job TechCrunch.
Re:Snap lost 3M daily active users last quarter on Tuesday August 07, 2018 @04:56PM (#17710723)
Snap is at risk of just being a fad. To be honest many of the people I know that used Snapchat a year ago have just plain forgotten about Snapchat altogether by now, and they never post anything, or look at anyone elses posts.
Re:EPA is allowing asbestos back into manufacturing on Tuesday August 07, 2018 @10:20AM (#17706841)
Case-by-case analysis is really expensive for a government agency to do. And you know full well that developers will cut corners at any chance they can if the rules are loosened up.
Re:Barnes and Noble says books on anxiety are soaring on Monday August 06, 2018 @04:59PM (#17701745)
Trump effect?
Re:The world is losing the war against climate change on Monday August 06, 2018 @11:48AM (#17698658)
It will be 20 years before we have hard scientific proof. You know full well that this kind of data is slow to gather and study and draw conclusions from it.
Re:AWS icon quiz on Monday August 06, 2018 @10:35AM (#17697914)
Same here. I'd be happy to get 20% right on that.
That is not a healthy diet. You should be eating smaller meal more often. If you are going to fast, do it for at least a 24 hour period.
Re:You don’t need standups on Thursday August 02, 2018 @03:06PM (#17674491)
This article flies in the face of everything. I love articles that fly in the face of everything.
Re:Why No HTTPS? on Tuesday July 24, 2018 @10:56AM (#17601574)
I mean on some sites I make, I just don't care if its encrypted. I hate that I have to just because all you mofo's have forced me.
Fair enough. "Google" is/was a silly looking word too. Perhaps DDG just needs a shorter and more memorable name though.
"Duck Duck Go" is such a silly unprofessional name for a website anyways. I really wish they would pick a completely new name, get the .com and rebrand. I do love the search engine itself.
Re:CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing causes lots of mutations on Thursday July 19, 2018 @11:07AM (#17566984)
Yeah I fear like all this will do is give rise to some false conspiracy theories about CRISPR.
This is interesting. What exactly is the use case that Senators Wyden and Rubio have in mind that their trying to help people with?
sometimes (often times) unit tests make for crap code.
It's a very important key.
I feel like this will be addressed when it happens. But its not an issue until its an issue.
"Must not intentionally report false information as truth."

Thus, lawsuites would be allowed if your org was found to be intentionally lying. But unless someone can prove you did it intentionally, they have no case.

Obviously you can lie all you want if you take the word "News" out of your name.

.. I mean, they would not have jobs if they did not participate in it.
bitcoin was just overpriced a little. that is all.
