I don't understand how growth is not a problem. The earth is a finite world, sustainable or not you won't be able to grow indefinitely.

Also we already consume more than we should, if we go back that would impact the GDP.

My same analogy with cars would be : "Would you drive a car produced by Exxon".

Google interest is not the web, it's its own profit.

You can take a look at Deezer, same service, same or even larger catalog than Spotify and IMHO better indie music collection.
Re:Uber Paid Hackers to Delete Stolen Data on 57M People on Wednesday November 22, 2017 @12:53AM (#15754586)
Something nice is also the fact that the people impacted by the breach must be told 72 hours max after the company is aware of the hack.

Re:Kerbal Space Program Acquired by Take-Two Interactive on Thursday June 01, 2017 @12:56AM (#14458099)
I introduced it to my nephew when he was 12 and he succeded to create pretty efficient flying bombs. A kid can grasp the concepts involved at 10, they can surely have fun before but probably more by exploding rockets and messing around with kerbals.
Re:VESA HOTAS Mounts for IKEA Markus Chair on Friday January 20, 2017 @12:50AM (#13441938)
The X52 is a lightweight one. I'd like to see that same solution with a HOTAS Warthog ( 6kg / 13.2 lbs).
Re:Site requests bank logins for online purchases on Thursday November 17, 2016 @01:00AM (#12974770)
In France we have 3D Secure, when you make the paiement you are redirected to a page that belongs to the bank, you receive a SMS with a one time code to validate the paiement and are redirected to the merchant with the validation.

Quite efficient, but I think there's fees for the merchant in this case.

Worked with this kind of tech for a few years... And trash it to go with Aspose components.

It's slow, and really hard to debug when it's not working (not only pdf output but merge fields).

Can you provide a source for the NSA cracking anything ?
