If doing a docker swarm which ports are required? Not clear on installation documentation.

Any plans for Kubernetes compatibility?
So nice, thanks for doing this!
Re:Show HN: Bloben – Self-hosted web CalDAV calendar client on Wednesday April 06, 2022 @10:48AM (#30932594)
Is it possible to use it with multiple users calendars? Have 1 calendar for each?
Re:Show HN: Login with HN (Unofficially) on Thursday January 13, 2022 @01:32PM (#29924636)
Would be interesting to come up with a nice use case now with this.
Which SMTP do you recommend? Is it best to use the AWS one or what are the other options?
You missed the most important part, pictures of your finished masterpiece.
Re:Show HN: Budibase – An open-source low code platform on Tuesday November 16, 2021 @01:01PM (#29243967)
This to me seems like the more feature full low-code open-source alternative available, congratulations!
Re:NocoDB – Turn your SQL database into a Nocode platform on Wednesday November 10, 2021 @02:16PM (#29179157)
Have you guys seen ToolJet? https://tooljet.io/
Re:NocoDB – Turn your SQL database into a Nocode platform on Wednesday November 10, 2021 @02:11PM (#29179082)
How does this compare to Budibase? https://budibase.com/ Budibase seems to have a workflow engine as well.

Dream come true! Congrats!
Re:Show HN: Fully-searchable Library Genesis on IPFS on Sunday September 19, 2021 @12:38PM (#28585669)
Nice, is it open source? Can we learn from this implementation? Is there any documentation?
The problem is values, body is being treated as a product. People are being treated as disposable. We need to reshape these values into better ones for a better society in the future.
Re:Show HN: Stamp – A Cryptographic Identity System on Thursday September 09, 2021 @12:39PM (#28471625)
Interesting, would be nice to combine webauthn into this stamp project.
Re:Web3 is a stupid idea on Wednesday September 08, 2021 @12:03PM (#28459036)
Bittorrent seems to be the pioneer in this open P2P space and I liked also the zeronet initiative about descentralized web. Web3 is trying to pickup on that same space, I think maybe unifying these efforts of Web3 with Bittorrent and all will make a big descentralized ground for what Web3 should probably become and yes I do not think wallets are a good approach either it is stupid, is what we have now but we need a better approach without any browser plugins, maybe facial recognition is the key here.
Re:Why Urbit? Blockchains are the most exciting piece on Friday September 03, 2021 @03:32PM (#28408371)
Nice, would be cool if we could do nodejs or Python on top of Urbit.
Even as guest Youtube wants to do the recommendation algorithm it's great what can I say besides privacy is the last thing they're worried about anyways. They're almost like: You know you're being monitored, don't worry about it we'll get you some great videos along the way.
Re:Show HN: Grist, a Hacker Friendly Spreadsheet on Tuesday December 01, 2020 @06:12PM (#25271308)
I have a Ubuntu running on a WSL2 with Jupyter Notebooks already on it do you have any recommendation or any url to integrate the two it would be really cool just like you said it sound like a lot of fun :). Or do you just call them separatly?
Re:Show HN: Grist, a Hacker Friendly Spreadsheet on Tuesday December 01, 2020 @04:46PM (#25270385)
Hey guys, Instead of me trying to put together Jupyter and this can I just use Python in Grist like use the Pandas and everything else? Combining this plus the magic of Jupyter seems like my dream environment now :). No need to worry about anything else :).

Re:An ex-Googler’s guide to dev tools on Thursday November 26, 2020 @02:56PM (#25223074)
Did Google copy Google in the first place? You can use it as your study case but think about making it better, put your progress in the table, innovate.
Re:Download WhatsApp Plus 2020 on Tuesday November 24, 2020 @02:40PM (#25202192)
looks like virus to me.
Re:DigitalOcean App Platform on Tuesday October 06, 2020 @12:25PM (#24699501)
Azure Static Web App is free and no limits compared to this offer, I can also scale Web Apps in Azure, not sure why I would choose the digital ocean option. Competition is good for us at least :).
Re:DigitalOcean App Platform on Tuesday October 06, 2020 @12:22PM (#24699458)
I don't know why they make this scaling stuff so expensive, I understand we get technology but I mean no-one is actually going to get to that point from start. I was looking into Google App-engine it's so ridiculously expensive I was like hey it's cheaper for me to do my own clustering technology than anything else or maybe just buy a good server and host it myself.
Re:Scaling Erlang Developer Experience at WhatsApp [pdf] on Friday September 18, 2020 @10:50PM (#24524500)
I think the concepts are very interesting of Erlang but I still don't understand it fully. And also about the multi-node os only an internal network scenario is not like a cloud mesh thing. You would need docker.
Re:Show HN: Build a DIY license plate reader with machine learning on Thursday September 17, 2020 @10:45AM (#24505240)
I was thinking the other day about a DIY solar panel for apartments that could be part of the decoration like within plant vases or something in that fashion that would be cool and would look good and not have "space being occupied", that would be interesting.
Re:Amazon and Alibaba in talks to buy the Brazilian Postal Service on Thursday September 17, 2020 @10:41AM (#24505189)
If Alibaba buys it it's going be the glory of Aliexpress in SA, but since Amazon has recently invested a lot in storage facilites maybe a Amazon / Alibaba greater partnership can occur and that can be huge benefit for all.
You can have multiple OSs running on WSL2, so for example have a Ubuntu 20.04 and a SUSE or Kali.. and you can have one workspace for each OS it will connect to the different OSs ctrl+r on VSCode you can change the workspace and therefore connect to the different OS under WSL2.
Re:JDK 15 on Tuesday September 15, 2020 @08:11PM (#24488192)
I was going to but then since Android also accepts Java I gave up on the Kotlin since I'm confortable with Java already, but I do like a lot golang recently I've also developed in C++ and I'm frankly learning a lot of golang and liking each day more and more.. it's fast to process and there's no hick-ups like in NodeJS, it's like the best of C++/Java with the best from NodeJS and no hick-ups at least for now.. I'm very impressed with the golang performance it's outstanding and what I got impressed too is that VSCode installs all the Golang extensions so it seems like I have all the typo verification on the fly without compiling remembering me a lot of Eclipse days with Java.. Good old compiling.. haha. We never get away from compiling.. I think Golang is under-marketed it deserves a lot of attention.
