She was right, the modern freecell sucks
Nobody expects personality from their math proofs, everyone expects it from art. Why are you conflating the two as if they're related?
An LLM can be good at math and shit at art. And in fact, they all are
Counterpoint: we've been making beautiful art and prose for millennia without machines doing it for us. And no, typewriters and word processors and paintbrushes obviously aren't the same class of tool as an LLM.
LLMs are truly worse at creative processes and I'm sorry you're not exposed to enough beauty in your life to recognize that
I think you're off by roughly half; an IBM PC with printer and monitor was about $5000 in 80s money, probably more like $10k adjusted
I can already sleep on the train
Robots have been doing most of the work in factories for decades already
Seems like i should be very grateful that i don't live in the bay area and you don't work for my doctor's IT department
It's far more simple. LLMs just aren't that good at stuff that isn't programming.
Yeah, Germans could never support the far right, there's certainly no historical precedent for that....
Sorry, were you under the impression mark Zuckerberg is a communist or something? Because if so, uh, you're an idiot
Journalists and companies and governments need to stop using it before i can stop using nitter
"A little privacy" is not "a camera in my house watching me 24/7"
Thousands of murders are not happening inside private homes. Almost every single murder that happens in my city happens on the street.
Something is in fact wrong with you. You want political dissidents arrested for the fake safety of preventing nonexistent murders.
I don't really see how gating behind dev mode isn't sufficient vs dev mode plus an arbitrary time limit that google gets to control
The 7-day option take gives it away. What scammer isn't deterred by 24 hours but is deterred by 7 days?
"Just use adb" until that requires a registered developer account
I can't get into baseball games or concert venues without certain android apps
Very much seems to me like they realized probably a decade ago they anyone smart enough to distrust ads uses a blocker and that the vast overwhelming majority of people are just completely unaware of any risk an ad could pose.
It genuinely seems like the "ad integrity" department is a fig leaf to keep regulators away from the billion dollar scam ad business, and the people in said department believing otherwise doesn't convince me in the slightest. Soldiers in Afghanistan really thought they were liberators, but that doesn't mean that's actually why they were there
Not that i make any difference but I'm very much committed to building everything as PWAs.
I am doing by best to never give a tech company my government ID, and especially not to install apps i build myself on hardware that i own
>non Play Protect devices
Such as...?
I go hunting for pages i read months ago and need to reference again pretty often. Browser history containing only the site and title isn't great for that but it's what i have
I got the impression you did a very good job of writing it by yourself and adding claudisms just makes it feel less trustworthy and slightly grating.
Not calling you out or anything i just take don't understand what people think they're gaining when they add a dash of claudeslop to an otherwise well written article, it confuses me. You do you though
So parts were generated... Unless you're saying Claude just went "lgtm, ship it"
This is just simply completely untrue. The overwhelming majority of people can walk a kilometer.
> the most amazing technology humans have ever invented
Ah, yes, nothing subjective here, no sir.
My 58 Firefox tabs that get updated once every 30-60 days when i reboot my desktop lolol
> Most people are overweight and completely incapable of even basic locomotion without heavy assistance.
I'm sorry, what? Heavy assistance? The overwhelming majority of people are completely capable of walking on their own two feet. The number of people relying on "heavy assistance" for "basic locomotion" is overwhelmingly tiny, and primarily limited to the elderly
